Bought a car from them in December unfortunately after having it for 4 days the oil light came on took it back to them Abrar was very helpful and assisted me in getting a courtesy car from them whilst they fixed the problem. They kept me updated the whole time and since I get the car back it has been fine.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!

I bought a car for 13,390 on 3ed january. It wasnt delieverd not on the back of a truck like a profession company but driven down adding extra mileage. On the day of delivery after having a fresh MOT the day before, an extra 400 miles was put on the clock! It was delievered at 10pm at night, it was dark i couldnt inspect the car properly as light isnt great by mine, took it up the road for a test spin, the steering was bouncy and breaks were creaky, desperate to be on the road with three disabled children as well as myself being disabled i took the car! MASSIVE MISTAKE...

So... 6 days of having the car, engine management light comes on, informed Abrar (communication was great at the start) took the car to a garage to get it pluged in for dignostics, came up with 9 fault codes, drove home and the automatic gear box wouldnt shift to the next gear and the cars computer told me to stop the car immediatly! After 1 hour it was driving again, at this point my children are not in my local school so ive asked a friend if we could stay few days while get the car sorted so i can get them to school, told by company to get it in the garage and they would pay for the work to be done, rung around took 3weeks to get into a garage for a proper dignostics, i then told them i think its best they come get it because i feel there is underlaying problems i wouldnt be able to fix, and cant get stranded with my very young children!!! I wasnt wrong... test come back with 19 faults, told the gear box is on its way out, the electrics are damaged and the cam belt and water pump is due to be repalce, they told me to send the car back!! So i did immediately rejected the car under the 30days consumer act 2015 with the 30 days, it took them a week to collect, they did offer a curtasy car while they took it back to be fixed but by this point my constant messaging and being ignored at times, ive lost all trust in them, they collected the car two weeks ago and i am still figthing to get my money back with replys saying ill get back to you, its been sent via bacs (wasnt sent), it will be in your account in 48 hours still nothing!!! The unnesserary stress this has caused is crawl and unacceptable, being self employed and needing trasport to get to clients houses, ive lost 5 weeks work and had to sign on for benifits until i can get back to work, ive had to cancel our hoilday to see my mum whom isnt well, my children have missed clubs which has put them back from their friends whom have moved up levels, i am having to pay for taxis to get around as busses are not a option with mine and my childrens disablities... so 7 weeks on 20th febuary, im still on my friends couch, shes getting annoyed which is understandable!! So now i have filed claim court to get my money and addition cost back, have reported to trading standards and will be taking this to the media in due course.

These people have No compassion or urgency and the managers tone was very aggressive telling me i let a good car go!

Brush problems under the carpet, not interested once they have flogged it!

I recently bought a car from MFI motor group, about three weeks ago actually and part exchanged my old car for it, next morning the car had ABS and TPMS lights on the dashboard, so I took it to Halfords auto center who diagnosed it and had to replace a faulty ABS wheel sensor, a day after that the clutch pedal started sticking on the way back up after pushing it down to change gears, this carried on for days so I took the car to a local independent garage and they diagnosed the problem as the slave cylinder, which is inside of the gearbox on this car, This cost me £455! As the gearbox had to come out.I contacted MFI to tell them about the problems as the car comes with a Three month warranty which covers the engine and gearbox! “They have told me the cylinder part is not covered by the warranty”, even though it is part of the gearbox and clutch assembly on this car.I have also since had to replace the two front tyres as they were worn on the inside edges resulting in a very annoying and distracting droning sound above 45 mph, when I test drove the car before buying I asked if there were any main roads with speeds of 50mph or more, but was directed onto roads with speed limits between 20 and 40mph, if I had, had the chance to get the car up to higher speeds I would have noticed the noise, instead I only noticed it when actually getting onto the A3 for my 130 mile trip back home after buying it.Also regarding my old car that I traded in, I was expecting a Tax return as it still had 5 months remaining on it, so I kept checking on the DVLA website to see if and when it would show as untaxed, nothing happened for weeks so I contacted MFI motor group, they said they had sent of the paperwork and can take up to 2 weeks for DVLA to change it, I contacted DVLA three weeks after parting with the car and they said they had not received anything, and suggested contacting the buyer, ie MFI motor group to confirm, so I contacted MFI motor group again, and this time they said they would do it immediately “digitally” on the internet, about an hour later I re-checked the DVLA website and sure enough it showed as un-taxed, 6 days later I finally get my cheque from the DVLA, but is a month short, so I contacted DVLA once again and they said they have not included the missing month because they only pay from the time they are notified, so I have lost a months Tax while MFI have it sat on their floor court for sale, not only that but while it was still taxed it meant I was liable for any parking or speeding fines!Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with MFI motor group, they don’t want to know about the problems or offer any solution or reimbursement to help cover this huge outlay of money, having owned the car for three weeks I am now down by £710! This is made up of: £455 for slave cylinder replacement, £192 two new tyres and tracking done as it was out, £48 ABS wheel sensor, and £15 short for car tax refund, I dread to think what next with this car! I bought this car after saving up for the last 5 years! And now I am in dept because of the repair bills!Personally, I would steer well clear of MFI motor group! Having now read other reviews I can see why, they just “flip” cars and have zero customer service, they just want to wash their hands of any problems and brush under the carpet.
