I am absolutely fuming! 5 emails to this company sice 11th April, 2 texts and absolutely zero response.
I want to return an item , which according to them is simple. Im a pensioner, on a strict budget so phoning France is not an option.
I guess I just have to write off the best part of £30
So this is my second order from MilitarySurplus - this time mostly to use the points i earned on my first purchase. trouble is it was hard to decide which items to select - i had quite a few points, and the site has a lot on it. nevertheless - i settled on a pair of surplus alt-berg boots, a surplus water bladder / pack, and some other bits and bobs.#1 - some of the other bits and bobs were delayed - the team reached out to me immediately with information, and options#2 - they kept me up to date, and kept their promises.one note: sadly the water bladder leaked as it had a pin-prick hole in it - however - it's a surplus bladder - let's not expect too much - and it was easily fixed with a bit of tape. still - the pack / bladder combination is already in use now that it's warming up in spring.Would i recommend ? sure - yes - wholeheartedly.Will i use again? yes

I purchased a parachute that was listed as in stock and expected to arrive within 5 days. However, after making the payment, I received no updates, and the website later indicated that the item was not available. Despite this, the payment had already been taken.I attempted to cancel the order, but my emails did not go through, and my account did not show any record of the purchase—even though I had created it during the checkout process.Now, after several weeks, they have contacted me to say that the parachute is about to arrive. Strangely, their email works when they need to communicate, but not when I try to reach them.At this point, I no longer need the item. I am also unable to process a return, as the order does not appear in my account. I tried calling as well, but there was only noise on the line.This experience feels highly untrustworthy. I have lost a significant amount of money and time.(I have screenshots documenting all of this and can provide them if needed.)
Prompt communication and status updates without me even reaching out first.One of ten ordered items went out of stock and it was quickly refunded.Those Romanian rucksacks just need some leather balm to shine. NB: extra metal hooks go under the belt.Will buy again..
