The worst internet provider ever! The employees are so incompetent,and no good customer service. We still have no Internet connection nor telephone lines up to now. They are not willing to provide us with a technician and we have difficulty to do it on our own online. They gave us the same excuse over and over again ! Sick and tired of this company!
Be careful with this company. They most likely like to scam people out of money, especially if you are not a German resident. Their employee's either are not supervised properly, or it is a part of their business ethics. I had to get my bank to stop them from withdrawing money. I moved out of my house in Germany, paid the full month even though another tenant took over the house getting free internet and surprisingly as promised the next month they stopped withdrawing money automatically as per contract agreement for ending service. Then the next month after that they started "automatically" withdrawing money again from my account without a notice or reasoning. I sent an email stating why, and they respind a month later saying they never recieved the documents needed to cancel in which I have email history of. They then don't respond. Therefore I called my bank. Then 2 years later, they say I owe them money by email. With a long conversation, I told them send me an Offical Invoice instead of just sending an email stating "you owe this small amount of money" and their response to my email "why". Their response was "we already told you and contacted you by email" which my email has no history of. The last time was when I had to contact them withdrawing money from my account when I am no longer in the country 2 months later. Have fun with this already low rated company
I wrote a review last week to state that I have not had any heating on in my house for over 12 months as Eon took £1,500 from me and demanding another £4k all within a 12 month period. I had to fight for an engineer to come out and check my meter (wanting £100 for this) and apparently everything is fine, strangely my bill has dropped significantly since then!!! My children has spent all winter going to bed in hats and scarves as it is bitterly cold in my 3 bedroom property. How have me and my family suffered for 12 months but Eon get over £5k from us???? I had a reply from them off here saying they will be in touch and surprising I have heard nothing from them. They are literally robbing me and my family of money we 1. We do not have and 2. We do not owe. My family is about to be plunged into debt because of this company.
Rang as we had no hot water and no central heating. Rang EON spoke to George who was calm reassuring confronted with a panic stricken woman. He asked questions and although I couldn't find my account number sorted it out and has arranged for an emergency call out.Thank you George.
AVOID at all costs ! Worst experience we ever had with an internet provider.The internet speeds are far below what is advertised. We measured and documented them and requested some clarifications, we received only a confirmation that we are right and were promised a reduced bill for the following month, sadly it didn't happen. Also, at the recommendation of an E-On employee, we sent back the router we had rented from them. We received a written confirmation from E-On, that the monthly costs for the router will be removed with the following bill (september 2022).Although we called them and wrote E-Mails repeatedly, the router was still appearing in the following bills, until May 2023 (!!!) when we cancelled the contract with them.If possible, PLEASE search a different provider.
