I purchased 2 sizes of the same dress in late November, I returned one back to the store and was given a refund receipt saying my card would be refunded.On upon looking at my visa statement yesterday (January) I noticed I’d hadn’t been given a refund.I rang customer services and spoke to a lovely lady called Sophie who said she would look into the issue and send me an email regarding the outcome.Within 15mins I received an email and a refund on my card .. Sophie’s attitude and kindness was exemplary and speediness of rectifying my issue was second to none , I just wish more companies could employ Sophie’s .Thanks again Julie
Although a few weeks ago now, I would like to leave feedback on the excellent customer service received from the Chichester branch. I was very sick, unable to get to the store to purchase a sale item that was out of stock online but the store had. They were very sympathetic and caring and enabled my husband a couple of days later to purchase in store. Lovely funnel neck coat, I’m delighted with it. I am extremely disappointed with Mint Velvet’s customer service. Instead of processing a refund for an item I returned, they took another payment from my account. This is completely unacceptable.What makes this even worse is that I can see I’m not the only customer this has happened to – many other clients have reported the same issue. This suggests a recurring problem rather than a so called one-off mistake.Having to chase customer service to correct an error that should never happen in the first place is frustrating and stressful. A refund turning into an extra charge destroys trust in the brand.I expect better from a company like Mint Velvet. I would be very cautious about ordering from them!!!!

I purchased 3 items from Mint Velvet for my loved ones. A suede jacket a few months back, brown cowboy ankle boots last month and asymmetrical print pleated dress a couple of years ago. Despite higher price, the quality of items is flawed. For example, the pleats of the dress had raw hem which means the threads were sticking out and prone to pulling even before the first wear. This was meant as a gift and therefore somewhat disappointing to haven imperfect finish. The suede jacket, although beautiful, sheds a lot and had some black needle-sharp micro pieces in the sleeves that felt prickly. Hard to say what it is. The boots are showing the creases and wear and tear on leather surface just after one wear. Overall, these were all beautiful items and we kept them yet it’s slightly disappointing in terms of finish quality and/or durability.
