The international roaming terms I encountered were the worst I've ever faced. An upfront deposit of $200 is required just to activate roaming, which feels completely unreasonable. Other providers usually ask for a minimal fee (around $15), allowing you to roam until your data or minutes run out—often valid for up to 365 days. Due to this policy, I'm now stranded overseas and unable to receive important bank messages from my home country. If you travel internationally, I strongly advise against using this service, as it could lead to a frustrating and unnecessary situation when you need roaming the most.
The service was okay, but dealing with support was a nightmare. When I traveled abroad, I wanted to receive SMS messages. They charged a $200 holding fee for potential bills. Activating roaming required contacting support, which took over 7 days. The same issue arose when returning home to deactivate it and get my money back; they told me to email them in 30 days. This is simply not acceptable.
I've never had problems with the connection, but recently I've tried reaching out to the support team for several days, waiting over 2 hours without any success. I've now decided to give up on them. Because of this, I can't recommend the service.
I'm disappointed for two reasons as a long-time client. I spent almost 2 hours on hold only to be directed to an overseas call center, whereas I expected to speak to a local team. Additionally, without prior notice, my plan changed from $15 to $25, which is not what I signed up for. I was also told that I needed my partner involved to set up separate billing, which is frustrating as the account holder.
I paid extra for express shipping (2-day delivery), but the SIM card still hasn't arrived after 4 days. The company hasn't responded to my emails, forcing me to buy another provider's SIM just to stay connected. I'm very disappointed; I've paid for a service I never received and am requesting a full refund for both the plan and the shipping.
I was disappointed that my plan was automatically changed to a more expensive one. This is the first time a provider has changed my plan without notice. Additionally, their policy on mid-month cancellations is concerning, as you don’t get refunded for unused time. It feels like paying for a service I'm no longer using, which raises questions about legality.
The service has been extremely poor. I can't get help over the phone or receive email responses, despite trying for two weeks. I want to switch providers but can't remember what I have with them. I feel the need to cancel due to their consistent issues, especially with emergency services. As a senior, I rely on that. Goodbye.
