Difficult to reach management

Having been an investor for over a decade, I used to appreciate the excellent customer service and features. Now, reaching a supervisor has become nearly impossible. Thankfully, there are other brokers available.

Questionable practices regarding pension

I received another questionable pension check from a third party on behalf of this service, which regularly sends checks by mail while charging a wire transfer fee. I returned all checks and expressed my concerns about their inappropriate accounting practices. It's surprising how they can justify sending checks by mail and still deduct fees. It raises questions about their judgment in handling finances.

Terrible customer service experience

The representatives and financial advisors seem poorly trained. Whenever my husband or I call, we receive inconsistent information on basic transactions. I have no finance background but can offer better solutions than these staff members. Additionally, the company made a significant error, and after weeks of calls, we are still trying to resolve it. It's shocking how they manage their business. They attempted to place blame on us for their mistake, but we have documentation to prove otherwise. Anyone dealing with this service should keep thorough records, as the staff often deflects blame onto the customer. My husband has spent countless hours on the phone with various employees. I strongly advise against using this service, as our experience has been extremely frustrating.

Difficulties accessing account

My company has vested my stock options with a specific service, but I have been unable to access my account. Despite following their instructions to activate my account, I still cannot log in. The only contact option is via phone, and they have been unable to help.

Excessive fees on an inactive account

I had a small, uninvested account that generated minimal interest over the years. Despite no services being provided, I was charged an annual fee that quickly eroded my balance. After realizing the extent of the fees, I raised concerns and was initially told reimbursement wasn't possible. Eventually, after much effort, I received a reimbursement. While the issue was resolved, it required considerable persistence. Investors should be cautious, as even small inactive accounts can incur hefty fees.
