Easy to use, sturdy, reliable workhorse for basic video editing. Quite a lot of options for spiffing up your videos with a variety of user friendly tools. Nice that Movavi is so user friendly and easy to learn.
Awful. I tried the free video editor and guess what, you need a subscription to export anything over 1 min long. "Good for YouTube" my ass. Maybe for shorts, but nothing of substance. I edited a whole entire video, about 30 mins long OG was 1 hr 20 m, and had to pay for a subscription just to export it. I was told it was free to export and great for YouTube. F this company, F their software, and I hope no one falls for that complete BS. I created an account here literally just to say this.
This is the most frustrating accessibility I've encountered in any video editing software, and I've been using these tools since 2016. It's unacceptable that I have to restart my entire laptop because the 'close pop up' button was off-screen, and I couldn't move the program to center or full screen since I couldn't close the pop-up. Additionally, why would anyone intentionally create a file type that no other application can utilize and make it the default for project file creation? It would be much more reasonable to use standard formats like MP3 or MP4.
I appreciate its value as an educational resource and its integration of AI in various areas; however, the tool falls short in accessibility compared to others. Adding text or audio separately from the video feels poorly executed and inaccessible. It would be beneficial if they could enhance the ability to incorporate and edit regular text in a manner akin to other popular platforms—this improvement could make the service more appealing for those considering a subscription.
I purchased this to create a video for my son's 20th birthday, aiming to blend photos and video with a song of my choice in the background. It worked wonderfully. The initial setup tool was extremely helpful, and I could easily make adjustments afterward.
I have maintained a subscription with the service for a few years without any problems. Recently, I needed to modify my subscription, and I felt there was a mistake made during the process. However, after I sent an email outlining my concern, I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt and suitable response I received, which fully addressed my issue. Outstanding customer service!
I have been using a certain video editing software for a while. Recently, I successfully shot, edited, and uploaded two videos to a popular platform. However, I encountered issues when trying to export a third video in MP4, AVI, or MOV formats after 2 PM on Saturday. Despite numerous attempts, I faced the same problem. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the software and the necessary codec, but the issue persisted. Additionally, screen recording stopped functioning the following day. I reached out to the support team and began waiting for a response. It’s puzzling why a previously functional program would suddenly fail. It seems an update might have been released without adequate testing, which is concerning as I hope it won’t lead to further delays or the need to purchase another editing solution. Three days later, the software began to work again, but at a significant cost. The performance was severely hampered, with the accelerators disabled, making it run very slowly. Additionally, screen recording capabilities are still not operational, and my licensed version from the previous year remains unusable. I’m left wondering why a program that worked seamlessly for days would suddenly malfunction. I suspect it might be due to leaving automatic updates enabled. It appears the company rushed an update before the weekend, which could explain the ensuing issues.
I spent 17 USD to export my file, yet the final product still has a watermark due to some "premium" effects. Am I willing to pay the extra 36 dollars to remove the ugly watermark from my project? Yes. Will I ever use this service again or recommend it to anyone? No.
Once again, I received the same exact response, prompting me to revise my review. The listing is still active, and noticing that this isn't the only platform being exploited indicates these individuals are clearly after profit. As I read through numerous reviews from others encountering the same problem of searching for alternatives only to be misled by this service, it's clear that this is intentional. What a disgrace. I requested a way to demonstrate the misleading listing from online, yet they continue to claim they're not affiliated, despite clear indications on the listing that they are. IF YOU'RE NOT AFFILIATED, STOP DENYING IT! I plan to keep posting reviews until someone provides a way for me to show them the obviously misleading listing and have it removed. This situation is absurd, and companies should be held accountable for such overt deception. Rest assured, I have screenshots of the listing, so until they stop their dishonesty, I will continue to leave reviews and warn others about this questionable service.

After reading several reviews from others facing similar frustrations, it’s apparent this is a calculated strategy. I asked for a way to highlight the misleading listing, but they persistently deny any connection, despite the evidence stating otherwise. If there's no affiliation, stop denying it! I will continue posting reviews until I find a way to report this misleading listing and have it removed. It's ridiculous, and companies must be held accountable for such blatant dishonesty. I have screenshots as evidence, and I won't stop sharing my experience until they address this issue.
