If anyone is looking for a removal or storage company in and around Glasgow then you need to use this company. I contacted them in 2018 and from the first contact with David Reid who is the director of the company I have to say I'm so so impressed this company is extremely professional and the guys that pack up your furniture are second to none . They take great pride in their work and I have to say I have never met such genuine guys they care about your possessions as if it were their own. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend this company. They also have storage facilities which are also second to none. They are extremely reasonably priced and I wouldn't go anywhere else. So if you need a removal company or storage give them a call or email and the stress of a house move will be instantly taken away by David and his amazing team. 100% recommend Moving Home Made Easy. Great and responsive service from the get-go. Everyone from the company that we met and / or spoke to - directors, office support staff, those doing the actual move and additional driver were all extremely friendly, helpful, calm and professional. Nothing was too much trouble - all much appreciated! The detailed quote was spot-on re: amount of van space needed and the price was very competitive. I also liked that this was based on a home visit rather than a video survey as I felt that the company got a proper understanding of the shear amount of "stuff" we possessed... We were moving 400 miles and the logistics and timings all went to plan. One note for anyone thinking of booking this company; when they arrived to uplift our stuff they immediately set to work and were fast with no hanging around - so be ready! Many thanks to all the team for making our move as easy as it was.
I booked an initial home visit to arrange a quote. They firstly sent an email with the wrong date which was quickly rectified. I then received a call an hour before the visit (I am not living there currently) to ask if I could postpone the visit til the following evening, no apology given. The man was then 15 minutes late, again no apology, and came into my house with his mask around his chin. All in all I was pretty unimpressed with the service and certainly wouldn't be paying 3 x over the going rate for poor service with lateness and cancellations before the move has even taken place! Maybe think about first impressions more! I will be going with a different company for my move.
