Moving Home Made Easy is a 100% accurate name for this company. When we contacted them on the day before our move (after another moving company let us down at the 11th hour), they quickly arranged our furniture move with no fuss. Communication was quick and helpful. The moving guys were great -- friendly, professional and very efficient at what they do. Our move was as smooth and stress-free as it could be; I thoroughly recommend this company.
David visited to assess, we collected packaging-boxes, tape and bubblewrap which was really helpful. They collected our belongings the day before the move which made the day of the move easy and allowed time for us to start early and travel the 130 miles to the destination.All of the guys were helpful, polite and courteous, would highly recommend.
We hired Moving Home Made Easy to help us move and we are so glad that we did. David came out to the house to review how much stuff we had to move and to talk us through the process. When we contacted other companies, no other company offered to send someone out to do this. A few days before the move, David came out again to see how we were getting on and answered questions that we had. The day of the move was stress free thanks to the fantastic movers who worked quickly and efficiently to empty our house. They had the entire van packed in less time than what was estimated and took care when packing our stuff. The movers were already at the house when we got the keys, and the guys were fantastic putting furniture/boxes where we wanted them. They were all incredibly friendly, polite and nothing seemed like too much trouble for them. All in all, choosing Moving Home Made Easy helped make what can be a stressful day, so much easier. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others and if we were to move again, we would certainly be using them again. Thank you for everything you done!
Had a great experience with a long distance move from Scotland to London. Professional and friendly service throughout. Any queries raised prior to the move were dealt with promptly and accurately and moving day went seamlessly. Would recommend for anyone looking for a stress free experience.
We chose MHME based on the positive reviews and their site mentioning handling unexpected changes and delays. I'm very glad we did, I suspect our move would've been a total failure if not for them.Our buyer's solicitor was totally useless, and messed us around so many times. Firstly, they got the moving date wrong, forcing a change of date at quite late notice. David from MHME helped us sort a new date 10 days later during a busy time - he was great, but sensibly keen not to over-promise and go for a date that they couldn't deliver on. Secondly, the solicitor botched the transfers on the day, so we didn't get our keys until 16:45! The guys were graciously able to help us out and finish the move despite it getting late.Those were the bits that we couldn't control, and they did a fantastic job during a stressful time. All the other stuff on our side was excellent: Brian did the initial consultation in person with helpful suggestions, the movers were right on time during the day, they took care with the furniture and wrapped things well, and they were impressively quick.We were at the point of looking for hotels in case the keys fell through, but MHME did their best to get it finished, keeping in touch throughout the day, and I'm genuinely grateful we went with them.Absolutely recommended.
From the first consultation I had confidence in this company. Of the quotes I received, theirs was in fact the highest, but the questions they asked about specific items of furniture and advice they offered on preparing for the day convinced me that it was worth paying a little extra to have the job done right. Come the day of the move, the team was organised and efficient with a great work ethic and it was obvious they wanted to take good care of all items. We don;t plan on moving again soon, but if we do we will use them again, and if anyone we know is planning to move we will definitely recommend Moving Home Made Easy.
