I had a very disappointing experience with the service. The solar panels and battery were installed at my home over a month ago, but the solar panels aren't connected to the battery or the inverter. This means the system is effectively non-functional. Despite investing in solar and a battery system—especially during peak summer—I am getting no benefit. I'm still relying entirely on grid electricity and just received a $355 power bill, which clearly indicates that the system hasn’t been properly commissioned or completed. What’s particularly frustrating is that this isn’t a performance issue; it’s a fundamental installation and connection failure. After payment, the follow-up and urgency significantly declined, with no clear timeline or accountability for completion. Installing equipment without proper connection or commissioning is unacceptable. A solar system on the roof and a battery sitting unused offer no value to the customer. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the service. Be ready for delays, poor communication, and the need to pursue completion of work that should be standard in any solar installation.

The installation of the heat pump hot water system had some positives—the plumber and electrician arrived on time. However, neither knew how to program the heat pump. After several discussions, I received a text with a link to a YouTube video on how to operate the system, which was described as 'easy.' The video covered temperatures, but I couldn't figure out how to adjust it. I also asked about turning off the system while on vacation, but the response was to contact the manufacturer. I've reached out to them, and they promised to get back to me soon. The system was installed on October 18, 2022, yet I received an email weeks later asking if I was still interested in installation. Additionally, the electrician mistakenly connected my oven to the hot water system, causing issues. They have come to fix it, but overall, it feels like the service wanted the business but took little responsibility.
