Free program easy to use, integrates well between my laptop and my phone. Lost a start because I think the extra features behind the paywall would be awesome, but a tad to rich for my pocketbook.
I've been using it for a few years with no complaints. I use the free version to record my daily dairy to keep track of how much calories i consume during my day to keep me in check. I have also plugged in my Google Fit to track my physical activities. I like the subtle prompts i receive to post my updates for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well the notifications every few months to record my weight. I am quite happy with the features offered in the free version. I have been exploring upgrading to their paid version but haven't yet signed up
This app has kept me on top of my diet and exercise goals since 2014! Just turned 60 and maintained healthy weight thanks to Fitness Pal keeping me honest/aware of good/ bad eating and exercise trends
i use MrfitnessPal for nonstop 10 years , yes 10 years and i cannot say in words how incredible this App is , my private instructor for healthy eating and stay active.
use it and you can see the change right away.
I genuinely love this app and its scanning technology for locating products, as well as how things are organized. However, I started experiencing frequent login issues even after being logged in previously. It seems there was an update or a glitch, which led me to not renew my purchase. It's disappointing because I truly enjoyed using this app.
I’ve been a daily user since July 4, 2012, and have never missed a day. Unfortunately, this latest version, which they label as a major update, is the worst I’ve experienced. The database remains decent, but finding items has become more challenging without scanning barcodes on commercial products, which requires a premium subscription. Logging entries now takes more steps than before, making it less efficient. Previously, I could easily copy meals from weeks ago, but now I’m restricted to copying only from the previous day. This means I have to navigate to the log, select the most recent entries, and manually input those items. While it’s manageable, it’s certainly not quick. Additionally, viewing total nutrients is now more difficult to access. There are better apps available that offer similar or superior features, yet I have years of meals and recipes saved, so I feel stuck without starting anew. Plus, I’m paying $50 a year for this service.
This is the best food tracking tool I've used! I appreciate being able to view my macros right away and the feature to log calories for exercise deficits or maintain the deficit! The recipe feature is fantastic as well, allowing for easy bulk imports.
Most food items are available and quite accurate. The removal of the free scanner and the introduction of a monthly fee was unexpected (perhaps it should have been grandfathered for existing users? Or maybe a one-time fee instead of a subscription?).
