Nafika tours was a solid ten out of ten for me. Myself and my buddy booked a 7 day Kilimanjaro trip and a 4 day Safari tour. Everything was perfect - The director Elias Minja was really great with all his communication and organisation. Both trips were absolutely perfect, all our guides and support staff were really professional and the service was excellent. I can't recommend these guys enough and I think we got fantastic value for money. Top marks.
Our family of 5 trekked to the top of Kili with Nafika and had a memorable experience even with a cold and cloudy summit day. Elias made the pre-voyage organisation easy. Our guides Aloyise, Max and Frank were kind, fun knowledgeable - they were concerned for our health and made the trek easy and enjoyable. Arnold our cook was a star, even magically baking a cake for my wife's birthday even though he only learned about it the morning of.Nafika is highly professional, locally owned and makes the trek a luxurious experience. The team ensured our camps were always set up in the best spots, that we never went hungry and always felt safe and cared for including the daily health checks.
Exceptional! From the moment I was in contact with Elias regarding our trip, I felt immediately we were choosing both a trustworthy and excellent company and it was 100% correct.Elias is an excellent communicator and will make you feel at ease regarding your trip, whether via email or WhatsApp.Our guides were Meshak, Declan and the brilliant team of porters and our chef, Jonathan. These guys are locals with very good English, naturally brilliantly friendly(this goes for any part of Tanzania we visited by the way, a wonderful nation) and I cannot imagine a better team to help you summit Kilimanjaro. We did the Lemosho 7 days, they check your health the morning and at night during your debrief with the guides regarding the next days walk/challenge.I appreciate tipping is not for everyone but we did tip the guys after the trip, you'll understand why it is difficult not to, once you have spent this time with them.We followed up with a Safari through Nafika also, again, I cannot sing the praises high enough of Octavian, our Safari guide. Such knowledge and such a lovely guy.I would not usually write a review tbh but when a company has been exceptional and helped you achieve something massive that you probably would not have done without them - then I absolutely must. Thank you all the guys at Nafika!
We had an unforgettable journey in Tanzania thanks to Nafika Tour. From the very beginning, their professionalism and care made the difference.We climbed Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route (7 days up + 1 day down). Everything was perfectly organized: reliable and caring guides, punctual transfers, good equipment, and abundant meals that kept us energized. The route itself was amazing, and the support from the team made the summit experience truly achievable.After the climb, we enjoyed a 5-day safari – our driver was exceptional, the lodges very good, and every detail well managed. The only hotel in Moshi was a bit dated, but fine for a short transit night.We ended the trip in Zanzibar, where we booked activities with local guides (not through Nafika). Would 100% recommend booking with Elias and trekking Kilimanjaro with Nafika! Three siblings and Dad, celebrating his 69th birthday, summited Kilimanjaro on 10 March via the 8 day Lemosho route.The Nafika team was amazing from start to finish. Guides Innocent and Declan were unwavering in their support to get us to Uhuru Peak! Food was fantastic, and we were continuously surprised and delighted at the meals that Chef Priva managed to prepare for us on the mountain. He even baked a delicious birthday cake and we all enjoyed celebrations at Shira 1 Camp. The whole team was friendly and kind and we were so well cared for! We had health checks every evening (including pulse oximeter readings) to ensure we were all on track with adjusting to the altitude. The porters are super-humans!Tents were comfortable, sleeping bags snug and warm - used our own as well as Nafika's (& we each brought along our own travel-sized memory foam pillow!), private loo was a win and definitely recommend!Oh so happy to have climbed this mountain!!! The summit was worth every challenging step!!Due to a change in flight schedule we had an extra two days to spend, after our Trek. Elias quickly came back to us with a plan to see Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater - Our driver guide Ronald was great, and it was the cherry on top to visit these two reserves before departing Tanzania! Tarangire was absolutely beautiful with lush green grass, tall baobabs, moody skies and the odd downpour. The Ngorongoro Crater was an incredible natural wonder to visit and we enjoyed making our way through herds of zebra and wildebeest!! Enjoyed fantastic birding at both!Thank you Nafika!!
