I’ve had a consistently positive experience using Neokyo. The platform is easy to navigate, invoices are clear, and the consolidation and shipping process has been smooth each time. My items have always arrived well-packaged and in great condition, and customer service has been responsive and helpful when I’ve had questions.

One suggestion for improvement would be implementing a stronger screening or labeling process that more clearly differentiates official and unofficial items at the listing stage. This would provide additional peace of mind for collectors and help prevent confusion before purchases are finalized. Several photocards purchased appeared official on listing page but upon arrival were not official cards.

Overall, I’m very satisfied and will continue using Neokyo for future orders!

I have used Neokyo for a while, and when everything goes smoothly, the service is great. However, I recently had a package go missing, and the experience has been very disappointing.

I reported my package lost in July,only one month after it was shipped. I was told an investigation was opened, and I followed up multiple times over several months. Despite being proactive, I was never informed that the carrier had marked the item as "delivered."

Because Neokyo failed to communicate this status change to me, I was unable to check with my local carrier at the time. Now, months later, they are telling me it is "too late" to do anything because the carrier's 6-month window has expired. They even tried to suggest it was my fault for not chasing them more in December, even though I was already waiting on updates they promised to give.

If your package arrives safely, you'll be happy. But if there is a shipping issue, do not expect Neokyo to proactively monitor your case or protect your insurance rights. Their administrative delays and lack of communication cost me my package and my money. Use with caution.

Beware of these scammers masquerading as a legitimate service! It’s clear that many haven't experienced better alternatives.
The wish list feature is a complete waste of time.
- No sniper bids available in auctions.
- Parcel splitting is not an option.
- High costs for packaging and extra fees for each kilogram.
- They refuse some direct links to other platforms, claiming they can't fetch prices. The worst part:
My account access has been restricted. I was told to contact support for clarification. I had merely 3 purchases weighing a total of 4-5 kg in storage (with 39, 39, and 45 days left before free storage expired). They don’t provide weight and size details like others do, making it hard to predict storage limits. My account was blocked — supposedly because I had exhausted my storage capacity and needed to urgently ship my items before I could buy again. I spent 2 days preparing the parcel and another 2 days for shipping, yet my account remained fully blocked, preventing me from making further purchases or withdrawing my deposit of 6,000 yen. For 4 days, I received no responses or clarifications; all the information I obtained was from their automated system.

Great items, but packaging issues

I really appreciate the service and I'm pleased with the items I received. However, the issue lies with the second and subsequent packages, which arrived with damaged boxes. This was disappointing compared to the first package I received in good condition. I hope that future deliveries will have intact boxes, as it's disheartening to receive damaged packaging and find that some items are affected.

Mixed experience with packaging and shipping costs

My initial order for a fragile item went smoothly, arriving undamaged and adequately packed, though it lacked bubble wrap. This was reassuring. Overall, it was a satisfactory transaction. However, my subsequent order of over 150 CDs was less fortunate, with about a quarter of the cases cracked and some inserts indented. The packaging wasn't terrible, as there was some bubble wrap inside, albeit of low quality. The box itself was quite flimsy, suitable for domestic shipping but not for international. The CDs were not properly secured away from the box corners, leading to expected damage. Many CDs were simply placed under bubble wrap rather than being individually wrapped. Given the extra "Packaging Fees" for larger orders, which are uncommon with other services, I had anticipated better protection. Pros: Quick shipping, an active community for support, reasonable fees, and good packaging for smaller items. Cons: The need to fund your wallet before bidding (though refundable) and high shipping costs for larger orders compared to other services. Previously, surface mail to the US was reasonable, but now it's not an option, and I found Neokyo's shipping rates significantly higher—at least 50% more than other proxies. Some services offer discounted rates, but Neokyo seems not to. Their UPS option is currently unavailable in my region, which is puzzling, as I used it with other services recently. They might be worth considering once UPS and surface mail return. However, even their surface mail rates are slightly higher than others I tested. I wish they offered a premium protective packaging option like some other services, as that would be a great addition. In summary, I would mainly recommend Neokyo for small orders, as their packaging for larger fragile items is subpar compared to competitors. They made some effort, but sturdier boxes and better item placement are needed. Currently, their shipping rates for larger orders to the US are quite unfavorable, and while I considered a lower rating due to this, it may not be entirely their fault. Once they improve their shipping options, they could be more competitive.

This is a solid proxy service that offers more affordable rates compared to others. However, it lacks the same safety features and guarantees, which can be a drawback; if you fall victim to a scam, there are no refunds. On the plus side, it provides an extended warehouse storage period and more economical shipping options!
