Review Time
I was suspended, for stating my views in support of our President. I find that anyone can say anything against our POTUS, and the things he is doing good for America. I was told a decision would be made with in 24 hours, on my appeal, that was hours ago, so much for Nextdoor’s honor.
I liked Nextdoor but there were some bullies on there that if they didn’t like your post would berate you and accuse you of not being a Christian/good person and so on. Not much luck reporting or blocking them. Plus there were other people (same ones over and over) wanting handouts. Finally had enough and left.
Nextdoor was originally intended to be a social media platform that fosters community engagement and facilitates easy information sharing among neighbors. Unfortunately, it has strayed significantly from that mission. In my experience, it has become:A platform where users are often criticized or berated for commenting on posts outside of their immediate neighborhood.A space where individuals frequently request handouts rather than seeking solutions or offering mutual support.A service that compromises user privacy — despite using a fictitious name, I began receiving unsolicited emails addressed to that name from companies I had no prior interactions with.An environment with ineffective moderation — during my time as a moderator, I observed widespread bias and a lack of accountability, with many moderators failing to act on clear violations of community guidelines.After deleting my account for a second time, I have decided not to return. In its current state, Nextdoor no longer offers the positive, community-driven experience it originally promised.
This is the least aptly named website around. A narcissist who has way too much free time probably created this site, now only sits around their laptop looking for people they can abuse from the anonymity of the cyber cafe. They do nothing but complain about the population of the bobcat (spend some time loving your animals indoors instead of chaining them up 24/7 and maybe you wouldn't have to worry about bobcats) ask for handouts, post their crafts projects they want you to spend money on and snitch on each others personalities. Powder puff, coward Moderators mingle with you to rile you up then slam down the ban-hammer as soon as you get your licks in. Get a life. P.S. If you have business you will not find anyone on this site who wants to pay you what you're worth.
I’d give zero stars if possible! Disgusting site run by TDS liberals who don’t even hide their bias! Conservatives who express support for Pres Trump get suspended for no reason, while liberals who post obscenities, curse, attack others (all supposed violations of the site’s rules!) do not get suspended! The “Leads” in charge of monitoring the comments are liberals too so they report conservatives and get them suspended! This site is as about as even handed, fair and neutral as The View!
I had a very slim amount of good interactions ( 2 specifically) on the nextdoor app. I posted 3-4 times and EVERY single time I was bombarded with negative responses by people who clearly hadn't read my posts and just needed an aggression outlet or other comments by people 30 mins away from my neighborhood so their input was not relatable. I've had my responses altered for the goal of lack of whole context,so I come across as sharing incomplete information and unreliable in my voice to my neighbors. The scammers gang up ( at least 5) gather together in the comments to push a person out of that is standing for the rights of their community. It is a gathering page for ill intended people waiting for prey to aimlessly wander in. It has totally missed the mark in regards to bringing community together.
Nextdoor censors even worse than Facebook if you can fathom that. If you try to voice your opinion on literally ANYTHING that doesn't conform with the Leftist establishment agenda it is promptly deleted as hate speech or bullying or discrimination.It literally is run by a bunch of power tripping ego driven psycho nuttjob leftists out of San Francisco and claims to be a "friendly platform to meet your neighbors" but is really just another information control tool for the Leftist establishment.
i've been on Nextdoor for a year plus and see the scammers on here left and right like this lady put on nextdoor I was down at the bus terminal with my "5" kids and I was going to take them to a movie, and so I put my purse down on the waiting bench and went to get a drink of water from a fountain and after getting my drink I turned around and see some lady taking my purse and walking away so I take a picture of her with my phone and now I have lost all of my rent and personal money and now my kids can't go to the movies, I need help financially, please help i'm desperate; Now if you read that you know that there are Red Flags everywhere in that statement-one you left your purse on the bench with all of your money, credit cards, personal items etc..(I don't think so) at the bus terminal, if you've been to a terminal you can't even leave a penny anywhere without someone taking it 2-left your purse but you took your phone with you when getting a drink (and not your purse lol) 3-took a picture of said women walking away with your purse but you don't confront her and take it back, and so on...After that I started reading all of the comments and all of these sympathizers "oh I feel bad for you" "dm me now I will give you some money" "I'll buy all your family movie tickets" etc. And so I comment stating Redflags in her story and all of a sudden I get like 20 likes, so others see right through her and then she starts getting defensive and says I never said I saw her with the purse, and so I go to her storyline and highlight what she said "I saw her with my purse walking away and I took a Picture of her" Oh and she put the pic on the site,smh; and now she's mad (by the way comes back) and after a few more back and forths she says I'll have you band because I've done it before and I'll do it again so I type back lol, you need help. And next thing you know I am banned fron Nextdoor lol, the administrators on Nextdoor cater and coddle the Karen's and Ken's on site smh and if you question their stupidity you get banned, and they don't even get your side of the story. I know that there are people that really need help, but If you go to Nextdoor and read read some of the storys you'll see a lot of scammers on there.
