Unfortunatly the bandaids leaves you hanging at 10mg. it seems strangely convenient for nicorette to leave you hanging at 10mg. dose bandaid.
Most asked queation at the stop smoking class
“Can you cut the bandaids in half for half dose?”
NO place in nicorette home page is that explained… no place in their paper material is that explained and no place in the note that comes with the prodict. All we have is AI collecting reddit posts of people and no actual info. It seems so very convenient for nicorette not to disclose that.

I’ve tried the gum and the capsule mint type things.. Both are equally awful because after a matter of seconds I get hiccups, an acid reflux type feeling, a weird sensation like I’m about to vomit almost, rendering the whole product/ process, completely pointless.. I’m not impressed with how much money I’ve wasted up until now..! Beware before you buy,
Patches.. I think they work a bit.. But don't stick on me maybe I have greasy skin?? But I don't think so... The Inhaler another expensive waste of money no taste at all on the thing!! so don't know if it's working or not??? ... The mouth spray totally different.. sprays every direction bar into your mouth.. Burns your mouth and throat and gives you hickups!!! one extreme to the other compared with the inhalers!!! .. Expensive waste of my money.. I feel ripped off!!! just for wanting to get off these infernal cigarettes... Going back to a vape but we all know they are aimed at youngsters and the flavours are all to sweet and sickly!!!.. Just want to get of fags!!!!!!... Why aren't these companies investigated by trading standards for miss selling!!!!!
Nicorette gum packaging injured my finger. The company has you going in circles to re fill out medical form.No way of refund via bank statement no manager.Serious safety issue to consumers the foil packaging.Didn’t care my finger injured Valentina continued to mock ridicule and provoke more stress refusing to escalate complaints.Health and safety matter.
Exactly the same poor quality and over priced rubbish as niquitin patches. Do not stick and are super irritating causing excessive itching whilst using and upto 24 hours after.Best alternative that actually stick and actually stop craving are the nicotinell 24hr patches
I was recently sent some Nicorette nicotine lozenges by your health, your way - a department set up to help people stop smoking. The first lozenge I tried was very sharp to my tongue but after about a minute of allowing the lozenge dissolve in my mouth I suffered a bout of uncontrollable hiccups followed by burping and then the worst thing was that my throat seemed to be closing up and felt like there was something stuck there. I spat the rest of the lozenge out and a few minutes later everything was ok. I tried another one this morning and exactly the same thing happened. I googled and was shocked to find that these are common side effects when taking the lozenges listed among lots of other possible side effects. There is nothing on the packaging to inform you about this and, as an aside, the containers they come in are a ridiculously thick and hard plastic which are difficult to open. My advice to all is don't bother struggling to open the container - just throw everything in the bin (even though the container will probably sit in landfill for the next million years or so).Would be interested to know if anyone else has had any problems.
I started Nicorette's 3 month step down program in October 2022 and the first 28 patches I received worked just fine. I had no probelm at all.In November, the second box of 28 patches arrived and after using a couple patches from this box, I noticed severe skin irritation in all the places I used the patches. The irritation (Severly inflamed, red and itchy skin) usually appeared a day after using the patch. The patches come in boxes of 7 so after noticing the irritation, I opened a second box of 7 patches to test and these worked fine - No irritation of any kind. This lead me to believe the first box was the issue and so I emailed ChemistDirect, explained everything to them and got the following in response:"Good Morning ,Hope you are having a good day so far. Thanks for contacting Chemist Direct.I am very sorry to hear this. Please speak to your GP surgery about this.I apologise again for the inconvenience caused."To say I am horrified by this blasé response to someone's health issue is an understatement. "Sorry for the inconvenience caused" is not the most confidence inspiring statement from a chemist. What's more, no effort was made to obtain more information from me which in itself is shocking. If a product I was selling was causing someone ill health, I'd want to know as much as possible about the problem to prevent it happening again.I've made contact with my GP who prescribed a cream for me to use however, I am now left with dark patches of skin all over my body where these patches have burnt me. Very "inconvenient".Thanks Chemist Direct. Thanks Nicorette.
