Really happy with how the sale of my father's house was handled. The team were great from start to finish, communication was spot on and I was always kept in the loop, particularly with Meg. She was super helpful and always on top of things. This made the whole process a lot less stressful. Would definitely recommend.
Arranged to view a property at 12.15 in Heol y Coed Pontarddulais via email through Mia from No 86 Estate Agent. Arrived at the property 12.05pm with my daughter and baby grandson in the car. Knocked at door of property at 12.20 pm because I wondered whether the estate agent was inside as I’d not heard from them saying they were running late. No answer at property so by 12.25 drove away, after talking to a neighbour who was well aware that we were there to view the property on Heol Y Coed. As we were approaching the one way system at just gone 12.26 pm my daughter noticed the car with No 86 on it driving towards Heol Y Coed, but I was not going back when they were 1) late and had not called to apologise 2) I realised at this stage that if they cannot get to an appointment on time I would not trust them to sell me a property. On my return home I emailed no 86 to advise I had been there between 12.05pm and 12.25 pm but no one had turned up. I received an email from Meg who then advised me that she could confirm that her colleague Matthew had been at the property waiting for me. As a mature woman who had absolutely no reason to lie to them I was aghast that instead of apologising and admitting that they hadn’t turned up until at least after the 12.25 pm that I had left, or indeed just apologise for the “ mix up” a colleague felt it appropriate to email me back saying that she could confirm Matthew had been there! If this is the way you treat customers then I certainly will never be one. I’ve never encountered this kind of attitude and certainly want nothing to do with them again. I’ll make sure that I tell anybody interested in buying or selling a property to steer well clear of them. Not only did they completely waste my time but then implied that I was lying to rub salt into the wound. Good luck Katie Cromwell with your business going forward if your staff are acting in this completely unprofessional manner.
We put our house on the market with no 86 after having a really bad experience with another local agent. I was a bit apprehensive instructing someone after dealing with the other agent but they put my mind to ease instantly. Every promise they made they kept, they're all so friendly and they sold my house within 4 weeks and kept me updated throughout the whole process. They were so thorough through the sales progress and answered every question I had (even the silly ones) and were always at the other end of the phone every time I called. I loved that I had text message confirmations for every viewing and email prompts too, a very modern way of estate agency that gave it a more personal touch (as well as a reminder of upcoming appointments for a very busy mum cleaning up after 2 boys!)I especially loved the videography that they took of my house, they captured it's features and quirks of my house so well that they made me doubt whether I actually wanted to move from it.I will never go to another agent if we were to move again in the future, 10/10 from me!
Purchasing my first home through No.86 was a fantastic experience, thanks to Meg and her team. They consistently kept me updated throughout the process and were instrumental in addressing delays caused by my solicitors. Their proactive approach in expediting the sale was invaluable, especially given the challenges I faced with my solicitors. Impressively, they notified me about the completion and key collection even before my solicitor did! Additionally, they were accommodating with meeting arrangements and allowed me to visit the property for measurements before moving in. I was delighted to receive a welcome card and a gift bag with my key as a thoughtful gesture upon completion. I highly recommend them to both sellers and buyers. Their proactive approach in ensuring the sale went through smoothly was incredibly reassuring for me as a buyer, as well as for the seller who was equally eager to complete
Excellent estate agent - highly recommended. We sold our house through No.86 and were extremely impressed with the customer service and communication. Everyone we dealt with at No.86 were friendly and supportive. I really can't fault them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in future - 10/10!
Absolutely incredible service from start to finish with number 86. Liz and Katie were constantly updating us with everything that was going on with the sale of our house. Both so very friendly and extremely professional. I can’t thank them enough for the service they have given us. I will be recommending this fantastic estate agents and the staff to anyone that is looking for recommendations.
The owner and director of this company is like a breath of fresh air and she goes above and beyond to help her customers. We used no. 86 a while back and it’s wonderful to see katie growing so well and spreading her wings. No doubt she will continue to be successful because she understands customers needs and actually does more than any estate agent I’ve ever dealt with. A competitor tried to take us away from her with all their promises but they fell flat whilst katie was definitely the cream that rose to the top. I wouldn’t hesitate to use no. 86 again. At last an estate agency who are in the 21st century. Katie and the team take the stress out of buying and selling and keep you updated throughout the transaction. The politest estate agents I have ever dealt with and also one of the cheapest. Would 100% recommend and will always use in the future.
