Review Time
I have been utilizing Albert's services for one month, and, regrettably, the experience has been underwhelming. Previously, I encountered difficulties with another bank when attempting to link accounts with third-party services. Albert communicated with me via email; however, after realizing the issue remained unresolved, they suspended my Albert Cash account. Subsequently, they requested statements from my other bank. Upon reviewing these statements, they lifted the freeze on my Albert Cash account, only to reinstate it 30 minutes later, this time requesting identification. After verifying my ID, they removed the freeze once again. Albert then offered, as a courtesy, a $25 loan, but retracted the offer six hours later. Furthermore, I had anticipated receiving my government benefits two days in advance, but discovered that government checks are ineligible for early payment. This benefit is exclusive to job checks, prompting me to revert my direct deposit back to my other bank. When attempting to use my Albert debit card for a $38 purchase, it was declined. Albert informed me that certain restrictions apply to specific merchants and locations, including international transactions and select US-based merchants. Albert withdrew my loan and their subscription fee of $14.99 without my permission, both of which had due dates. By doing so, they caused my other bank account to become overdrawn, resulting in a $37 overdraft fee. However, Albert did refund the $37 overdraft fee. One aspect I appreciate about Albert is their email-based communication system, which operates during business hours and provides prompt responses.
I am attempting to transfer my funds from savings to my bank account, but I am facing numerous errors. The service insists that I need to obtain a card to proceed, and it keeps trying to transfer the money to an old bank account that no longer exists. I feel completely stuck and unable to access my own money. This platform is frustrating and untrustworthy; I recommend using a different service instead.
Stay away from these scammers. They are just gathering your personal information. Every other rep lies. They say you are not eligible when in fact you meet all requirements. One will find the reason the system is denying and why another rep says you don't qualify. Then they say you actually do qualify and fix the problem. Then the next time same thing. They only have a few good workers there who are helpful. The rest are useless and don't try to help despite what they say. Thesubscriptions are expensive and when you know very well you meet the requirements & denied it is frustrating & stressful. Use Dave or anyone except Albert.
