Really nice experience, food was great and our guide Gael guided showed us around Lille. Communication was very clear, easy to meet up. Afterward we received from gael a recap with the places we visited and an extensive list of places we can visit. We recommend this tour!
We had a lovely evening wandering around Montmartre and filling our stomachs. And our favourite part was that we learned lots too - Celia was very knowledgeable about the history of Paris, Montmartre and the food we were enjoying, which was a real plus! Highly recommend!
My husband and I went on a great food tour with Tom last night in Lille. We visited several great eating establishments which were filled with locals, not tourists, which was great. We felt like we were exposed to the essence and the pulse of Lille. It was a variety of food that was excellent. Tom is a superb host and was very accommodating. He also was in touch with us before the tour. We would highly recommend this food tour with Tom. You will not be disappointed.
This tour in the beautiful Le Marais was an absolute highlight of my trip to Paris. Our host, Celia, was fabulous and worked hard for everyone to feel welcome while telling us loads of very interesting food history and Parisian history. Every single stop of the tour was DELICIOUS and absolutely incredible value. We wandered through the neighborhood, eating and learning new things and becoming friends within our little tour group. This tour was magical and Celia was so cool (and knowledgable). I absolutely recommend this tour!!
We had a great time! The tour takes place in the old town and our guide introduced us to other restaurants, bakeries, sweet shops! Our tour guide knew the town well so we got some light history tour as well. He had great rapport with the food providers. I think we had 2 savoury dishes, a cheese shop and 3 sweets.As well as trying some regional delicacies, he shared the history of the visited places whilst discovering the town. Strongly recommended.
