I submitted my papers to open a bank account in nordea, turku branch 02.10.2023. Today is 02.12.2024 till now I haven’t got my account. I visited the branch 4 times but everytime they said me that back office is working on it and they can not do anything to make the process faster. Their service is worse and they do not take any work responsibility. They also committed me that it only takes 2-3 weeks to open an account but their commitment is also vague. I haven’t seen this type of careless banking service previously.
Nordea bank customer service in branch are very rude and impolite. I can confirm that Nordea bank Finland intentionally disrespect and abuse its customers by forcing customers to wait outside the bank in a very long queue before getting service every day. Nordea does not let customers wait inside the bank even there are plenty of places inside the bank. Nordea Finland does not meet western European standards, but is exactly like banks in Russia and Eastern Europe.
as a foreigner living in Finland I can confirm that Nordea are the worst bank to join... they boast being able to provide documents in English, which is great, however everything else is a nightmare & they make it so difficult when it should be relatively easy. They make you wait over a month for opening an account, & then another 3 weeks for an appointment to show your ID's. Choose another bank, seriously.
worst bank ever, money transfers disappear you have to call there to get money on your account , you can never be sure you get money transfer on time, to call to customer service you have to wait at least half an hour or hour. Then they closed my debit card wich was valid for one more year. This bank is a real nightmare
What a joke of a Bank. I have never ever been so humiliated in my life, this guy's after pushing me to open a personal bank account for the sake of opening a Business Bank Account they call me to tell me that we will proceed with your application 3 months after we see how you will use your personal account. This is a shame for a Nordic Bank. It took 4 weeks for all the procedures and when I thought that now all was good, out of any logic they asked me to wait 3 months. My business will start to generate cash within June and this is all wrong. With all this 1 star reviews it all makes sense now.
This is a nightmare!angelica in nyc office hung up on me when I politely asked to speak to her supervisor or the bank manager. My parents were Swedish and left me bank stock. I have called 30 times to various Nordea numbers in Sweden- you get a recording and a computer. When I press 1 for English it says sorry and things I don’t understand! Horrible nightmare!
So Nordea scammed me, I paid my last invoice with Nordea just now and thought to share my experience. First of all, horrible customer service. They made a mistake thinking I haven't paid one of my loan installments. Only because I paid it a bit earlier it didn't show it in their system and for more than one years they fined me for this month, every month. When I told them the mistake after 1 hour talking with an expensive line. They just accept but never took away these fines. So I paid fines for almost one and half year and they never fixed it, never replied to my messages any more and I realized if they keep me behind the line like last time I loose so much more money. Thieves and scammers, liers and well thieves again.
After 13 yearI thought to change from Dansk Bank to Nordea.After Reading this reviews it sounds that Nordea have just exactly the same style like Dansk Bank.Ignorant to customer important question and matter. Don't sounds very trustable , and seriously to change Bank and to encounter the same problems.I will think about a different bank.A bank where the customer is still respected and where the doors are open for personal customer serviceThanks for this reviews.
If possible, I would like to give ZERO star to Nordea bank! This bank doesn’t know how to provide service to customers but is an expert in asking personal question repeatedly! I answered their question but still they asked me the same question again!! What the problem? Which part of my answer is not clear? Why are you so interested in my personal relationship? This bank shows no respect to customers and keeps invading my privacy!
Horrible. Just horrible. They took 2 months to activate my account. I cant even deposit any money, I informed them about it,they said I have to visit the branch and make the deposit. Today I went there and their server was down! I have to wait 1 more week to visit them again. Very inefficient and dissapointing.
