I am a client if a Nordea Finland for 6 years already, and happy with their services. Full support in english if needed. Always reachable customer service an convenient permanently developing user mobile app and web private banking. Just recently i had an issue with the credit card. But i am not sure wether NETS is a part if Nordea, but NETS did not provide a good service in solving a dispute issue. If there is a possibility to change NETS to something else, I would recommend to do so, as they are does not care about their clients, unfortunately…

Nordea zero points

Nordea has turned out to be an absolute basket case of a bank. I am a UK resident, so knew to expect challenges as a result of brexit. But my, oh my, Nordea's inherent lack of competence, process and most importantly customer care has exceeded all my expectations. Everything has been a shambles. Latest is that my son turned 18, Nordea automatically (no comms) removed all authorisations (I had a power of attorney, which has nothing to do with whether my son is 17 or 18), so noone had an access to his €250,000 savings and investments. The only way, absent online banking access now removed, to fix was for us to travel to Helsinki to visit a branch. That's what we did 2 weeks ago. Not surprisingly, the person we met did not have full authority, so we left without any access, still, to wait for someone else to authorise and allow for the online access. 2 weeks and a couple of reminder later, the bank informs that "...matter is progressing, but requires further investigation...". Investigation! My son is a life long customer, with 1/4 million euros in the bank, one that travelled from UK to Helsinki to get this silly thing fixed - and the bank is "investigating" whether he can be given an access to his own accounts! That is so incredible that I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

It took 3 months to do house loan…

It took 3 months to do house loan decision! Avoid person Kati Hovi to deal your home loan matters, she doesn't answer messages or phone call request. Really, really bad service on Nordea. Definitely going to change my bank asap!

Nordea Investor sucks

You will not be able to buy whatever shares you want in Nordea Investor, but will have to call a paid number, queue and still there is no certainty that the security is admitted to trading even during the same trading day. Stone age service.

Computer says no....

I want simply to liquidate my finish bank account that I opened years back when I was expat with a multinational in Finland; I called Nordea's customer service number to check out how to do this from abroad; the only way to do this so they said was by flying from the Netherlands to Finland. For the rest "computer says no". They also proposed to give power to someone in Finland (that I don't have), but they said it didn't need legalization (beg you pardon?!). This failing control cannot be true. I have asked for the ex-pat dept, but they couldn't give a number. When I asked for the supervisor I couldn't be connected (giving the junior phone attendant incompetant advice but not having the guts to deal with these difficult matters himself). I cannot imagine that flying to Finland is the only (very costly) way to liquidate the account. So stay away from Nordea. "Computer says no"

Worst bank I have been with

Worst bank I have been with. Invasive questions. Sent all my personal information to the wrong person and I gotten all their personal information. My card randomly got blocked because they thought it was stolen and no msg to warn about the card being blocked for that reason. No free call customer service. Takes 10 days too get a new card or longer, which is not practical at all and now I can't use my own money. I would definitely not recommend this bank to anyone. I myself will stop using Nordea.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. I have been a customer at Nordea for as long as it has existed here, but during the past year, the customer service has decreased drastically: transactions between own accounts take several days (previously they could be seen immediately), they take "service fees" without informing their customers from several different services (some of which are mandatory nowadays), and contacting the "24/7" customer service takes 45 minutes of waiting...claiming "rush" in service. I thought I would be a Nordea customer for a long time, but if it continues like this, I will have to start considering other options. Very disappointing.
