Is it an accident that the nordic socks website lists *an incorrect email address* for their customer service department? smh. (note to Nordic socks: If you care about customer service you can start by correcting that *typo*.) Communication with nordic socks is frustrating; they answer their emails very slowly...I experienced delays of up to four days, twice...and they respond with generic emails that fail to respond to the content of communications. I did finally get the refund for the two packages of socks I returned, after escalating it to my credit card company. Their socks, though thick and cozy, are shorter up the leg than standard socks, and run small in the foot as well. If you like tucking winter socks into long johns or tights you had better get knee length socks because a standard length sock from Nordic will be disappointing.
This company communications are appalling. I am on week 5 and still waiting on my order which was placed in November. I have just been informed that the have been shipped, but, are unable to track them....simply baffling. I requested a refund, as at this stage my Christmas gifts,which was my plan for the order,is too late. They could not give a refund and asked me to be patient. To be fair,my patience has been depleted and annoyance increased by the style of communication they use,which,is fairly generic.
BUYER BEWARETerrible company. Poor customer service. Public lies on their website. Bad quality products that wear through very quickly. Super super disappointed.The story:I ordered socks as Christmas gifts on Dec 12, as the website PROMISED delivery by Dec 19. They claimed, “we’re using alternate couriers, so don’t worry about your package getting stuck with Canada Post. Also, we have Canadian warehouses, so don’t worry about getting stuck in Customs”Well… they shipped my order with Canada Post AND it spent 2 weeks sitting in some customs office. When I reached out to them to ask WTF was going on, they constantly deflected any and all blame - “our shipping partner is still shipping some orders via Canada Post, it’s not our fault. Holiday shipping is busy and customs will snag random packages to inspect, it’s not our fault.”To boot, they launched a 30% off sale on the website 2 days after I ordered at full price and, even though the order hadn’t even shipped yet, they refused to honour the sale price and refund me the difference between what I paid and their new sale price. Less than 48 hours after they charged me full price.After 2 weeks of the order sitting and not moving, I told them they had 5 days to process a full refund as I no longer wanted the product nor did I believe it ever actually would arrive, plus the person who was supposed to receive it as a gift has left and I will now have to pay to mail them again. Instead of refunding me as requested, magically the order started tracking.Now I get to spend more money to either ship these stupid socks back to Nordic Socks for a refund or ship them to the person that was supposed to receive them 2 weeks ago. This is ridiculous
