I believe that I made best possible joice when I turned to NordClinic. To start with, the surgeon who operated on me, Dr. Valdemar Loiba is more skilled than other surgeons performing same type of surgeries. I was turned down by few other surgeons, before he took my case. He also took time to explain in detail all the issues with my hip joint. He guided me through MRI and X-ray footages showing how various impairments appear on examination results. This is rarity, doctors dont usually like to spend time teaching their patients about their condition, they would rather skip this part and get to the recommendations.
Secondly, the main office can be fully relied on. I am fully pleased with customer service members of staff, Neringa and Emilija, who assisted me all the way. They supplied all the necessary information and assisted in all related requests. They saved me some money too, they advised me on applying for S2 programm with NHS England, which existence I wasnt even aware about.
The clinic has facilities for medical tourists. They pick patients up from the plane and carry them to and from the clinic. It is a courtesy of the clinic. I am only slightly gutted that the range of their transportation service is limited to central area of the city only. They would travel as far as Vilnus airport to pick a patient up from the plane, but they wont carry the patient to an accomodation more than a couple of miles from the clinic. But then again local taxi costs €9, gets summoned from a mobile application and arrives in minutes.

I chose Nordorthopedics for a TRHR,I was recommended by 1 of my colleagues who had been on 2 occasions for hip replacement. From start to finish everything from communications, all pickups (airport, pre op tests and physio)surgeon meet, anesthetist meet, nurses on the ward and physio have been amazing.I travelled alone. So just to summarise Very impressive service and impressive care I will recommend to anyone who needs a replacement hip 100%And a big thank you from me to all at Nordorthopaedics.
I have chosen this clinic according to previous review clients. I am currently living in Canada and it was hard decision to fly abroad and made surgery. I got amazing experience, support and service from first communication via email till my final day. The team is really professional and works like a soccer team. Communication was clear, on time and full. The great place to get orthopedic service and resolve your issues. Highly recommended!
My choice of Nord for my Total Knee Replacement was strongly influenced by the quality, variety and credibility of the information made available about the Nord programme. I went to (very cold in February) Kaunas with the trepidation of a 70 year old who never had major surgery before. I left 10 days later realising how realistically my expectations had been managed; there was pain, but it was managed, and there was physical trauma, which receded with satisfying speed through the door excellent on-site physiotherapy (which was also a social occasion every day).Nord is a production line, churning out successful hips and knees every day, but it always felt personal, and I can't think of anything that should have been included in the treatment package which was not. 12 days after the operation I am walking confidently without crutches (now that I am away from the ice underfoot in Kaunas), and continue to be cautiously delighted with my daily progress.
Amazing clinic in such a beautiful country. I’m 25 years old and this is my first time ever having surgery. I did a lot of research into Nord a few years prior to going. The whole team from transport to receptionists to nurses/surgeons, they go above and beyond for patients. The day after I had surgery I was in pain and needed stronger painkillers, within 1.5 hours of ringing the hospital they had their drivers bring medication to the hotel reception for me and text me to let me know. Exceptional service. The food they provide whilst staying there was amazing and everything went smoothly before and after surgery. I felt so worried before going but they really put me at ease! I will definitely be going back in future! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had :) 10/10
I had a total knee replacement on 3/2/26 i was extremely nervous but Nord made me feel at ease , explained the whole procedure from getting picked up from the airport to getting left off again . I would recommend Nord to anyone in the position to be able to go
Just returned from 11 days in Lithuania having had my second hip replacement with Nord Orthopaedics. The quality of care I received was truly outstanding. Everyone from the reception staff, logistics team, nurses, consultants and physiotherapists were so professional and committed to giving me the best possible outcome.I am currently healing very well and it would appear the operation was a massive success. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. In fact several friends of mine have already had surgery themselves at Nord. Let's face it the cost is also a major bonus when compared to private treatment in the UK.
