If there were less stars, that's what I would've given. The other reviews and summaries are not wrong. Hours upon hours spent on the phone with them, promises made, never happened. The automated system is unhelpful, they do blame the Dr.'s office, they ask "have you missed a dose or at risk of missing?" When you answer "yes," they respond with "would you like to speak with a pharmacist?" You will never speak to a pharmacist and there's nothing to be done except just send the medication. My insurance company selected Accredo for me. POOR experience.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Absolute worst pharmacy EVER. Every single month have issues with my chemo meds. Between them not sending it, canceling the order, forgetting to send it. This time they blamed the weather. Last time they said that my insurance was rejecting it which was also a lie. There’s a class action lawsuit against this company and I strongly suggest anyone dealing with similar issues join into the class action lawsuit. Just google it you’ll find it no problem.
Accredo Pharmacy has shown a shocking level of incompetence and indifference. My minor child was due for a critical medication yesterday, a medication she needs to manage a serious chronic illness and prevent pain and complications. As of today, Accredo cannot even provide a delivery date.
Let that sink in. A child is left in pain and at risk because this pharmacy cannot manage its own processes.
This was not a last-minute request. Prior authorizations were already approved. We followed every rule, made every phone call, and still ended up with delays, misinformation, and empty apologies. Each representative passes the problem along, while no one takes responsibility and nothing gets done.
Accredo’s failures have real consequences. This is not a delayed sweater or a missed refill for vitamins. This is a child’s health. Their lack of urgency, accountability, and compassion is appalling.
If you are considering Accredo for specialty medications, especially for a child or anyone with a serious condition, be warned. You will spend hours on the phone, receive conflicting answers, and still be left without medication when it matters most. Patients deserve better. Families deserve better. This pharmacy should be ashamed of the harm their negligence causes.
I called the company for 7 days Almost every day And sometimes twice a day to get my medication filled They kept promising that it would be filled The next day or in two day .I got the insurance company involved and acredo promised to them next day delivery, it never came. So next day again I called the insurance company and was told it would not be delivered for another 5 days. I paid out of pocket $8000 for CVS specialty to overnight the drug with insurance company promising to pay it back. At this point I have flareup of my medical condition
I wish I could rate this service even lower. It's been chaotic, particularly over the past year. I've received broken deliveries, had prescriptions handled poorly, and the support team consistently provides incorrect information. My frustration peaks every time I reach out, which has become a weekly occurrence. Many of us are stuck with this through our employers, but it's clear that some oversight is needed to address how poorly this service operates.
If I could rate this service lower, I definitely would. They consistently delay processing prescriptions without any clear reason. Whenever I call, I'm connected to a different representative each time, and there are no notes in my file, forcing me to repeat the entire situation. This leads to unresolved issues. Additionally, they will stop filling prescriptions without informing you, leaving you in the dark about any problems. They allow you to miss doses and create unnecessary hurdles to get your medication. There's no cooperation whatsoever.
They consistently fail to fulfill prescriptions correctly. Their customer service is outsourced to another country, creating language barriers that prioritize cost-cutting over consumer satisfaction. Resolving any issue takes days and lengthy phone calls for basic solutions. I dislike having to rely on them.
Nothing has gone well. My doctor and I began working with this service in late August, possibly earlier, due to my insurance switching specialty pharmacies. Initially, my doctor submitted the prior authorization paperwork through the portal multiple times, but each time I called, I was informed that the pharmacy "couldn't see it". After about six weeks of this, I requested the representative to send me the paper form, and she provided me with two fax numbers. My doctor completed the paperwork and faxed it to both numbers. I received a text confirming that the prior approval was obtained. However, when I called, the representative was condescending and rude, providing me with a phone number that was not connected to the pharmacy and stating that they hadn’t received the prescription. I contacted my doctor again, and they faxed it in. After waiting a week, I called and was informed by a helpful young man that only the pharmacist review remained, and I should expect a call in 2 to 4 days. A week later, I called again, and a very nice young lady told me it was still under pharmacist review and marked it urgent, assuring me I would hear back soon. Today, another polite young lady informed me they just received confirmation and it was again under review. She indicated they received "something" on November 24th, three weeks ago, and she would mark it urgent for follow-up. She was the third representative to be kind. I hope this is resolved soon, as my HGH levels are dropping significantly since I've been out. I’m not sure if it's due to their software issues, staff incompetence, or a general lack of care and accountability from the service, but I will be reaching out to my insurance company to express my frustrations.
This has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had. They consistently fail to deliver medications on time, claim they can't resolve issues during weekends, and attempt to overcharge. I'm incredibly angry with this service.
This was an incredibly frustrating experience for me. The customer support was terrible! Fortunately, I managed to switch my future orders to a local company. I will never consider using this service again! They were very difficult to communicate with; I had to repeatedly ask them to clarify because I struggled to understand. They disconnected the call on me twice. The representatives were not fluent in English as I perceive it and were quite impolite. I can't find enough words to express how disappointing the experience was. I'm relieved that I won’t have to interact with them in the near future!
