Why they don’t have basic human decency when I’m trying to ask about something which was my property after having bought it from them in good faith. Bought an Audi recently and they were very happy to have me buy the car and push the sales. Even telling all customers to leave them 5 star reviews in exchange for a warranty on the car. Which is unethical and illegal by the way. Even with a so called warranty they want to avoid any responsibility whatsoever regarding anything that is not right with the car. Extremely shady behaviour from the garage might as well not offer any warranty in the first place then. If you do take some responsibility and acknowledge what is going on. And the fact if you give your car it’s next to gone, the after sales so called busier than the prime minister who can never answer a phone to one of their customers but if I call regarding purchasing a car I am instantly through and the car is ready within the next few minutes
SPicked up car today. 35 mile trip back home. A roads and motorway, car never missed a beat. From 1st contact the team has been 1st rate. Reese the manager is a man of integrity. What I wanted doing before buying was done. Thank you to Will also both professional and nothing was too much trouble. I shall write a 2nd review after driving car for a few weeks but the team at North West Autos have so far been excellent
I went to north west autos with my e class last week to get my tires changed and they asked me to leave my car and would not picking calls up and when someone called Paige did end up picking up, she was very rude to me and said that it’s their wish when they can give me my car back and when they did give me my car back 2 days ago on the way to my house the tires deflated again. Extremely bad service and they asked me to put good reviews to get good service.
This was the worst car-buying experience I have ever had. The staff were very unfriendly and seemed interested only in taking my money. They were unwilling to answer my questions and appeared to be in a hurry to complete the paperwork. I will never return to this Northwest garage and would strongly recommend that others be very cautious before purchasing a car there.
For the first time I'm leaving anyone a negative review. After purchasing a car from North West autos in Blackburn for my newly passed teenager I encountered a nightmare and a non existent after sales team. I was swayed by the sales patter by one of their salesman called Reece. The car in question was allegedly well looked after, had extensive history and would come with Reece's personal assurance and seal of approval, total BS. I was gullible and naive to fall for the sales pitch and I trusted the salesman. I was sold on the guarantees and warranty and assurances so I ended up buying the Nissan Note 1.2 dig-s automatic. I opted for a extended 6 months warranty as a peace of mind. I thought at the point nothing would go wrong as I envisaged that the carhad gone through vigorous safety checks like I was promised and a personal guarantee from what I thought was a trusted local dealership (how wrong was I). On the drive home the car seem to have numerous faults. The automatic gear box gears were slipping. The car was very jerky and not revving right, the car felt underpowered even for a 1.2litre engine and wouldn't drive up hills. It was a total hazard to say the least. I felt duped and lied too by North West Autos. The car clearly had serious issues and needed extensive mechanical work. It certainly wasn't fit for purpose and was a hazard on the road. Putting a young inexperienced behind the wheel of this car would not only be catastrophic and dangerous to them but to others on the road too.I took the car back next day as the dealership was closed when I called that afternoon. At that point I thought I would never get to the dealershipI was introduced to Paige from the aftersales. She was emphatic as I aired all my concerns and explained that I'd be rejecting the car under CRA 2015. I further explained that as the car was not fit for purpose and I'd be instructing a court accredited engineer and a mechanic to inspect the car and verify. She told me to leave the car with them as they would have to inspect and I'd get the report within a few days and I'd be updated on the next course of action or process. I formally rejected the car in writing and insisted that the only resolution I was seeking was a refund under CRA 2015. I felt I had been scammed and duped so I wasn't willing to accept a repair. I felt at the the time and still feel that the car is a hazard to the road so insisted on no repairs taking place. Since that email and letter I sent I have been chasing to get this car inspected via the AA and ACE Ltd but have been given the run around. They insist on having their own inspection of the vehicle when I have instructed 2 independents to inspect the vehicle. In order for both parties to have an independent impartial report ad assessment of the vehicle to go off. There are 2 impartial mechanics and engineers on standby ready to inspect the vehicle. Theyboth have tried to make contact with the office and aftersales via phone call and emails but have been ghosted, cut off and ignored, just like myself with very little information provided to me or them.Just to put all this into context the car was bought on 08/02/26 car and was brought back to the dealership the next day and formally rejected on 09/02/26. They have had more than ample time to have their own inspection of the vehicle but insist they have not and have not allowed an independent engineer or mechanic that I've instructed to inspect the car. Which seems quite bizarre as they stipulate this on their sales contract. I have brought the car back to them and even paid for 2 independent s to verify my claims and inspect the car. If they would allow the engineer and mechanic on site then we'd able to establish this. They are just not allowing this. It feels they are trying to mask the mechanical problems and clearly something behind the scenes when I've clearly requested them not too. They have the car back and both set of keys, they can do the right thing and negotiate a buy back which I'm willing to do but instead have ghosted me.I would advise anyone thinking about purchasing a car from NORTH West Autos Blackburn to book a AA or RAC car inspection in advance before signing a sales contract.Furthermore North West Autos Blackburn are not affiliated or accredited to any motor codes. However they are accredited to the Financial Ombudsman if you buy the car through a credit agreement you might have a saving grace. In hindsight I should have done my due diligence but regrettably didn't. My only alternative is litigation and pursue this via the small claims court as there seems to br no other form of alternative dispute resolution and aftersales are non existent. If North West Autos read this I urge them to the right thing and let's sort this out amicably with out litigation. You have my details and the car registration is: AP63DPE
Having looked for a number of weeks for the right car, I decided to go for a 2011 plate Audi A5 cabriolet that was on sale at North West Autos. Having paid the £200 deposit, I arranged to travel 180 miles up to Blackburn on Saturday 27th September 2025 to inspect and purchase the vehicle. All was good when I got there, the car met expectations and the test drive was fine, so I decided to pay the balance and to drive the car away. However, when it came to the paperwork, the advertised full service history, which was fully displayed in a number of photos an the AutoTrader listing, was not with the car's documentation. When I asked about this, I was told by the salesman (Will) that the service history and owners manual was in the safe, which could not be unlocked until the following Monday. He assured me that it would be posted to me first thing on the Monday, and I took him at his word. In retrospect, I should have got this assurance in writing, but his manner inspired confidence, so I took him at his word.Over the course of the following week, the paperwork did not arrive, so I called to find out what had happened. I spoke to one of the sales people (I don't remember his name), and he insisted that the paperwork woudl have been in the car (it wasn't). I told him as much, and he said that the dealership would search for it, even chasing others who had bought cars on that same day and could have been given the wrong documents for their car. This exchange went on for a number of weeks, until it became clear that the paperwork was not to be found.I had paid the full price for the car, but I now had a car that was worth a lot less, so I said as much to Paige, in After Sales, copying and pasting an article on the internet that suggested at least a 20% impact on the resale value of the car.I requested that this 20% be repaid to me, as this was entirely the fault of North West Autos, but I was told that, because I did not have the assurance in writing that the documentation would be forthcoming, no refund of any kind would be offered. The communication of this decision, athough made by Cameron (Director?) was delegated to Paige, and I was not permitted to speak to Cameron at any stage. I was invited, however, to bring the car back up to Blackburn for part exchange on another vehicle, less mileage at 75p per mile and any other deductions for damages or wear. This, on top of a 360-mile round trip and the time this would take, has rendered such a venture so cost-ineffective as to be ridiculous. In summary, what really irritates me, apart from having paid over the odds for my car, is the refusal on the part of North West Autos to take any responsibility for their not being able to supply the advertised service history, and the cowardly and unprofessional refusal of their director to speak to me directly to justify such a one-sided solution to a problem that was not of my making.

I had such a wonderful experience at this car dealership. From start to finish, the team was absolutely lovely welcoming, kind, and incredibly patient. They took the time to listen, answered every question clearly, and never made me feel rushed or pressured at any point. What really stood out was how genuinely helpful and understanding they were, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find such great customer service, and I truly felt valued as a customer. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a positive, friendly, and professional car-buying journey.
