Incredible teaching approach with engaging activities

This teaching method is truly remarkable, featuring fantastic interactive activities both during and outside of lessons. Additionally, the summaries provided for each lesson are a wonderful touch. Our instructor is exceptional, using her unique style to capture my child's attention, which is why he eagerly asks when his next lesson will be. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their outstanding efforts.

Sofia is learning English with Novakid

My daughter Sofia has been learning English with Novakid for over three years. She is currently at level 5. We previously had a native speaker from the Philippines, but now her teacher is from South Africa. We are extremely pleased with her progress. In her class at a regular school, our Sofia is proficient in English. This year Sofia plans to take part in the English Olympiad. We are sure that she will be among the winners. Thank you Novakid for the wonderful growth of our child.

Novakid Experience

Novakid is a great place to work part-time it’s a solid platform with mostly cooperative kids and many other wonderful features. However, my main concern is about the gifts that parents give to teachers. From what I understand, when a parent sends a gift, it’s equivalent to the full class rate, but Novakid only passes on the teacher’s base pay portion. I find this a bit unethical, as it feels similar to withholding part of a tip from a waiter. I do understand that there are administrative costs involved in running the platform, but just as free trials are treated as a marketing investment to attract students, I believe Novakid should reconsider this policy. Teachers should be allowed to receive the full value of the gifts they’re given, regardless of their base pay rate.

My son Basil started his lessons with…

My son Basil started his lessons with Novakid a month ago, and I've already seen significant progress. What I love most is the interactive curriculum that makes learning fun for him, and his fantastic teacher [KIM B] who has a wonderful ability to hold his attention.Basil takes [3] classes a week, and he can now pronounce some words correctly and form simple sentences. I look forward to seeing him speak English fluently in the future. I highly recommend Novakid to anyone looking for an effective and enjoyable way to teach their children.

Fantastic online English classes

Fantastic online English classes. Flexible, good, efficacious. My son is really speaking some English and making very good progress. We are very happy with Novakid and would recommend it to any kid. Our second son has just started as well.

The 3 stars that I gave are exclusively for my son's teacher. Mr Vaid is amazing, but the site is a crap. My son has more than 1 year with them, and I kept the subscription just because he got very attached to Mr Vaid, but lately I am extremely pissed off. I always had issues with them, but at least I was fixing them with the employees. Now they have a bot answering to the messages and fixing nothing. Last week, my son had 2 lessons that disappeared from the app. They were booked the same day one after another, when we logged in to make them, they were vanished. Ofcourse, nobody answered us to fix the problem, not even after 1 week, the lessons were not returned and the Bot was unable to help. What a disappointment

Unfair treatment of workers

This company treats workers very poorly. This includes myself and someone else I know who currently works here. They treat workers very negatively when they get any sort of negative feedback. Once this feedback is given, even if the feedback is extremely biased and unfair (the worker might have 99% of exceptional reviews, for example), the company is extremely rude and leaves workers with little job security, even firing them, based on one bad review - a frequent occurance. I feel that a dedicated amd talented learner being fired with immediate effect and left to sudden job instability and financial insecurity is unfair and wrong. This is not a one time thing, as I have heard from several UK teachers that this also happened to them and some more are also experiencing the same issue at present. It is heartbreaking and scary, you do not even get to say goodbye to your pupils - some you may have taught for a long time. It is really unfair. Please can this company sort out their unfair treatment of workers and be more courteous in cases of negative reviews against teachers - consider the whole case (perentage of positive feedback and overall quality of teaching) and significant number of positive reviews alongside tutors. Do not jump straight to firing someone and remove us without a justifiable reason. It is unfair treatment. I know you are employing workers for less pay to replace us, and I feel this is quite calculate and cruel. Please stop. It discredits your brand and will leave customers with a poorer quality of teaching.
