I have used it for over 3 months with no results, more shedding/receding. I am in the process of doing a full investigation into this company, but my view and user experience is it is just a scam. Let’s see where the money traces to, the LEA will enjoy this.
RED flags
The company claim to be in LA. The address is a 18 story, 114 condo/apartment complex. Email IP addresses suggest some senders are within the USA and others elsewhere (perhaps with VPNs). The listed phone number is VOIP.
The product is shipped from China taking weeks. The box does NOT have sterile microneedle devices. No doctor/medical professional would EVER use these. If you order extra, these are in suctioned bags purporting to be sterile – however have no markings on the same indicating has been done by any professional company (date/time/expiry/batch).
The instructions on the box did not match the product. An email was sent as the supplied millilitres was not correct to what was ordered. They replied indicating I was sold the ‘new blue formula’ version 2. This uses 0.5ml/dose (old was 1.5ml/dose) and does not cover the scalp effectively. Whilst the email was quick – a company with any basic processes should be able to determine which customer got which batch. There are no batch numbers marked on any vials. Having measured the liquid with a drawing up needle – the volume varies. If they were concerned about old boxes being wasted, you’d think you’d at least supply up to date dosage / usage instructions within the shipment or stick something over the old dosage instructions.
They supply two PDF documents (after requesting them, $50 ‘value’ free) – again all referenced to previous studies from recent to the 1970s – no medical endorsement or actual existing professional has put their name to this product. Their ‘terms of service’ say ‘The material on the Website is provided for general informational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice or as a substitute for seeking advice from a qualified healthcare provider. The statements made on this Website have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. You should consult your healthcare provider before using any information provided by NovaMane.’.
There are two ‘doctors’ who endorse the product. Dr Alex Lomardy – a ‘Board-Certified Trichologist & Hair Restoration Specialist’ [Not to confuse with licensed doctors with ‘Lombardi’ surname who are legit] – pictures and videos are positive for AI scan detection. No doctor is located/licensed by this name. Two marketing pictures show a completely different person. Articles infer that this ‘doctor’ is published, there are no articles authored by this ‘doctor’. Likewise for another endorser, Dr Colin Hayes [not to be confused with other licensed doctors with the same name in differing fields that look nothing like this apparent AI image] – articles on his website are written slightly better, but made a claim he doesn’t exist on any social media, linkedin or websites – not sure what doctor has none of these, and no practice or location/professional can be located by this name despite apparently existing in the USA.
Aggressive marketing – over 50 emails in a 3-month period – do I really need to order more given I supposedly ordered a ‘3-month supply’?
Company tracing shows this linked to Botanique Paris, an online company that shows a facial device called ‘Revital Eyes’ that is ‘backed by science’ to get rid of eye bags – supposedly with 300,000+ customers. A TikTok user alleges that they unlawfully used her photos from surgery for their marketing and has never used her product. She further alleges that she was offered $10,000 to keep using the images which she refused. This company in the fine print has a similar claim to Novamane’s fine print.
Widespread influencers promoting it (with full heads of hair) – but no ACTUAL positive customer reviews have been found outside of AI doctored images and scripted reviews on their website? Some key words are recurring across several reviews (one word in particular) that given how they product allegedly works and is administered is not correct terminology. Given supposed ‘thousands’ of customers worldwide, where are the legit – good/bad/neutral that every legit product has? Some scripted dubious accounts on other review sites defend the product. Users that highlight review concerns get told only a small number of users review it and numbers are increasing (currently 450 or so reviews on their website –AI images and/or scripted – or a small number of words. You’d think if your hair magically regrows you’d write more than ‘works well’.
The founder ‘Eric Yang’ – no social profiles. Kind of like ‘Jason from Novamane’ who also spam emails you…
Should I get scientific testing on a left-over vial?

Horrible communication from the company; the product ships from China, so expect at least a 2-week-l

Horrible communication from the company; the product ships from China, so expect at least a 2-week-long wait. Worst of all, the product doesn't work. I used it for 5 months, and I see no progress. I'm still within the 180-day return policy, but the company is VERY hard to communicate with, as email is their only line of communication and they are extremely slow to answer, if at all. I had purchased this product on two different cards; while the company had told me they would refund me, they sent one refund to a card that had expired and was no longer the same card number. I tried to explain that to them but have been met with silence. I'm hoping the other card they told me they refunded actually sees the refund. They said it could take up to 10 business days (that seems lengthy imo), seeing how most companies that I have been refunded from hit within a couple days, not 10+. Once I actually get my refund, I'll change it from a 1-star to a 3-star review, but just know this product didn't work for the life of me, and communication with the company is a joke at best. I also highly doubt their online reviews are real.

Remarkable hair regrowth after years of struggle

I've experimented with various products, but this is the first time I've noticed real regrowth in areas where I haven't had hair for years. After using it for about 8 weeks, I've seen a lot of new hair appearing, all around 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch long. My hair is no longer frizzy; it looks healthy and shiny, and shedding has significantly decreased. I can wash my hair without having to rinse hair off my hands after scrubbing my scalp. I've been using it every other day, and it's quite manageable. I didn’t expect to see results like I did when I was 20 within just 8 weeks, but it's clear that with patience and consistency, you can achieve the desired results. I'm thrilled it wasn't another disappointment.

Disappointing experience with misleading claims

After examining their before-and-after assertions and delving into essential research, I've concluded that this product is essentially ineffective. When I requested a refund, my request was outright denied. The entire situation felt frustrating and dismissive. Additionally, cancelling the subscription is not straightforward. You have to engage in lengthy email exchanges where they attempt to persuade you to remain, making the process quite tiresome. I am sharing this review to prevent others from facing a similar experience. It's better to save your time and money.

Misleading product and impossible refund process

After looking closely at their before-and-after claims and digging into fundamental research, I concluded this product is essentially snake oil. I asked for a refund, and they flat-out refused. The whole thing felt frustrating and dismissive. There is also no simple way to cancel the subscription. They make you go back and forth over email while trying to convince you to stay, and the whole experience is exhausting.I am leaving this review because I don’t want anyone else to go through the same thing. Save your time and money.

Novamane did not deliver my order…

Novamane did not deliver my order instead marked it undeliverable due to wrong address which was incorrect. The address was right and the pin on the map the tracking showed was also correct. Now they want me to pay for shipping to resend my order. Why would I the customer pay for their shipping companies error? I find this to be very odd and sketchy.

Had enough of these scammy companies…

Had enough of these scammy companies now. Will spend the next week dedicated to ruining this trash companies reputation now. I received this product a week ago so cannot comment on its effectiveness. However, having paid out £140 for “4 months supply” I can confidently confirm that this company is a scam. They’ve sent me 2-3ml vials instead of the labelled 5ml vials. When I complained that this wasn’t going to last me 4 months, they sent a cheeky automated email stating that they’d changed their formulae and now a single dose was 0.5ml instead of the stated 1ml. When I pointed out that 0.5ml wasn’t going to cover my balding hair area they continued to send me the same automated emails. There is no company here, it’s another snake oil company ripping off desperate people. I am sick to death of it. Please avoid this company. And if and when you do buy into this nonsense, make sure you leave a negative review and spam their socials so these companies can fizzle and die. Thanks

Wanting to try product

Wanting to try product, but only 27 reviews & none older than 2 months. Some only using it for a month claiming big growth- the back of my head doesnt grow that fast. How long have y'all been in business. Definitely not a long dnough track record.

Quite possibly a scam but will update in future if I'm wrong.

When I received the product I was surprised at how little solution was in the Vials, I followed the instructions and applied only the amount they said. So I was surprised when half the bottle had gone. The website, the packaging and the downloaded guide all state 5ml per bottle and 1ml applied in each session. So when I measured out a bottle it confirmed that only 2ml was in each vial. I reached out to Novamanes customer service and they told me that I'd received their 2.0 concentrated version instead of the 1.0 version and only need half the amount lol. Sounds like a joke right? They told me to only apply 0.5ml per session. So when I pointed out that I'm only getting half the coverage, and that all directions state I should apply 1ml, nowhere mentions a special 2.0 version being available, I get radio silence. I even pointed out that this sounds very much like a scam, and guess what, no response. I might as well use the stuff but I'm not holding out much hope of it working.

Know how to spot the fake reviews!

There is one easy way to tell the positive reviews are fake... And no doubt they'll change their tactic once they read this!Ignoring those with 1 review to their name (as anyone can create an account and write a fake review), what are the odds of multiple people with multiple reviews, all having provided positive, similarly worded reviews for the exact same 10 sites? Like WiAutomation, Warmnest Candle, Fashion Eyewear, Caswino Casino, Aussiewoof, Indie Campers, Botanique Paris, La Femme Wanderer, Octiive etc. We're not stupid! If you buy from this company, beware. Any company who writes or pays for fake reviews doesn't deserve my money. Also, apparently thousands of products sold with a proven track record, yet there's only 27 reviews... Give it a few months when they've raked in a lot of cash for selling nothing more than what is likely to be water and this company will disappear.
