I called Nubrakes out to my house because my brake light kept coming on along with my traction light. He came to my house promptly. He was very polite, and his work was very fast. He told me that my brakes were fine and that I was probably having a sensor problem. I took my car to Nissan, and they told me that it was not a sensor problem, but my brake caliper was leaking brake fluid. So, I am having to let Nissan fix it.
This is my first time I use Nubrakes to replace the brakes for my 2016 Infiniti. Starting from getting a quote inline and schedule an appointment, it was smooth and straightforward. The mechanic (Josh) came on time, friendly and professional, he replaced the brakes in less than an hour. He did an excellent job, I paid the repair as quoted, no surprises! I am very happy with the service and I recommend to everyone.
SUBARU OWNERI think 2 stars is generous. It is specifically for the friendliness of the people. Really nice people. The service itself is regrettable. I have a family, and tried these guys out to save money. I paid for brake pads all around and an oil change and tire rotation. The first tech did not reattach the caliper on my front brake. He also swapped the position of my drivers side tires only, for my rotation. They refunded the money for the rotation. They wanted to send the same tech out to fix the problem. No thanks. The second tech was shocked that the caliper was not attached and let me know the problems I was experiencing was from that. He replaced the front pads and threw in free rotors. Since then every time I brake my car grinds to a halt and shakes at high speeds. I took it to the dealership and they let me know and showed me that the aftermarket rotors they used were not the size of the OEM rotors but were larger and that’s why it was grinding, but at least I was safe. They showed me how the caliper had knocked of the balancing weight causing the shaking and were nice enough to rebalance it. They recommended getting new pads and rotors from them to fix the problem, which I cannot afford. So I’m stuck driving around with a car that grinds to a stop every time I brake. It’s embarrassing to have passengers in my car and every time I stop I hate Nubrakes even more. I’m glad so many people have had such a great experience. Instead of telling everyone how great MY experience was and being happy, I would never recommend this service to anyone. I feel like “you get what you pay for” and save money somewhere else. Not on your brakes. I am so unhappy with my brakes. 😣Also, in attempting to review them on their site (which in not able), I notice that they have terrible reviews, somehow rated with 5 stars, so even if I rated them bc 1 Star and left a bad review they would just change the rating. Ironically, I looked at the rating and didn’t read the reviews. If that’s not gdishonest, I don’t know what is.
A horrible experience. This is nothing more then your typical take advantage of the public and overcharge auto shop but with fancy marketing campaigns They promise the best price but refuse to price match a very reputable service dealership in town. They say just send the quote but then they play games to try to trick you into a 15% flash sale to price match but if you actually read the prices before the mandatory fees and taxes it is the same initial offer sent. This is a business that 100% I believe is only there to take advantage of people and then switch to high pressure sales took the appointment in the end. This is a business I could never trust and it is so sad to see they have so many 5 star reviews (with reviewers who have never reviewed a business before-‘aka a paid reviewStay away from this company they are what makes the auto industry horrible
My wife was told during a vehicle inspection the brake pads were down to 10% and they could do it at their facility. We held off and made an appointment with Nu Brakes. Eddie was honest and told us the pads were fine with > 40% of the pad left. I requested he flush & replace the fluid and that was done in short order. Absolutely all around honest, detail oriented and efficient service at a fair price.
This was my first time call Nuubrakes. Soooo Happy I did ! My technician Eddie was amazing ! He arrived right when expected. Explained everything and was super polite . Worked very fast but accurately. Got front brake pads and 1 rotor as well as an oil change and was done in just over and hour. I will be calling Nuubrakes back for all my vehicles .
