In September I attempted to find electrical info for my 08 Volvo.I was using scribe and found a manual.well, it turned out to be something I had to purchase. I also had difficulty purchasing it and then I was not able to to download and even when it appeared to download. It didn't and is nowhere to be found. I have not used or looked for any manuals on emanuals.com however I am still billed. I believed I just purchased a manual that I didn't receive and looking at my bank records found that I have been charged $33 on 11/14, 12/14 and 01/14 with a description saying Scarborough on. How do you stop the charging of my account.
I was planning to check the platform so i signed up using the free trial, Unfortunately i was unable to view any documents and i was asked to pay immediately to view or download, then i left the platform without using it at all, but i got charged after free trail ends even though i disabled my Visa internet purchase ( Very weird and suspicious ) , at the end they are also not allowing refunds at all in any situation.
I absolutely love the car manuals. They provide all the manuals I require and even more. The VM software is incredibly easy to install, and everything is pre-configured and ready to use—truly brilliant. Considering how difficult it is to find Australian car manuals, even locally, this service has everything covered.
Unreliable service that clearly does not prioritize customer satisfaction. They advertise a free trial, but you end up downloading content that negates that trial. I canceled immediately upon realizing I was not happy with the content, yet they still denied my refund request. After several days of communication, I even reinstated my account, but they refused to grant me access for the days lost during our discussions. Their excuse was that other subscription services do the same. This approach is unacceptable, and I also doubt their right to sell or distribute their manuals, as they seem to rely on content already available online. Very dissatisfied.
Initially, I was hesitant to sign up after seeing several negative reviews, but I decided to take the plunge and registered for a trial. After browsing through a few manuals, I found that they didn't meet my specific workshop needs, leading me to cancel my subscription. However, the range of coverage appears extensive, and the manuals are detailed, making them ideal for smaller garages or DIY enthusiasts at a much lower cost compared to other options available. I wasn't charged, and the website process is straightforward; those who have complained seem not to have fully understood what they were doing. I believe many users are satisfied with the service but may not have thought to share their experiences. If you sign up for the trial, just be mindful of what you're clicking on and follow the instructions, and you shouldn't encounter any issues.
I run a powersports shop, so I'm working on Seadoos in the summer and Ski-Doos in the winter. Customers want a fast turnaround. Having all the service manuals in one place means I'm not wasting half my day hunting down info for a Polaris, then a Kawasaki. My workflow is just faster.
