Ive recently bought an Audi A5 from Oakwood Garage and it was such a good experience. Natalie was honestly so lovely to deal with! She kept in touch the whole time, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and was always happy to answer my questions. She made the whole thing feel really easy and stress free. I’d definitely recommend this garage.
Motor Company for £17,798 and drove it away on 8 February 2026. Within around 24 hours, the vehicle developed a serious charging fault. It would not charge on any home AC charger and only worked on commercial DC chargers, indicating a likely ICCU fault. This made the car not fit for purpose almost immediately after purchase.
I reported the fault the next morning. I was told the dealership would not arrange recovery and that it was “not their problem”, despite this being a clear Consumer Rights Act issue. Because the car could not be charged and did not have enough range to return safely, I had to pay £130 myself for vehicle recovery back to them.
I formally rejected the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 within 43 hours of purchase and confirmed this in writing. I made it clear that I did not accept repairs and was exercising my legal short term right to reject. Despite this, communication has been poor. I was promised call backs on two separate days that never happened. I was also told the vehicle would be driven and charged multiple times, but I have seen no evidence that this took place.
In my view, the underlying fault has not been properly resolved and has only been temporarily masked, with the risk that the 12V battery will simply discharge again because it is not being correctly charged by the ICCU system.
It has now been one week since rejection and they have still refused to provide my refund. As a result, I am proceeding with legal action to recover the purchase price and my associated costs.
I have been left without a vehicle, out of pocket for recovery costs, and forced to escalate the matter formally.
We went into Oakwood this weekend! And was helped by the lovely Andy Glover, he was very knowledgeable and helped us get the best deals possible! The experience was definitely a 5 star and I would 100% recommend him to friends if they were looking to purchase a new car! We didn’t feel rushed and felt like Andy had all the time in the world to help us with the deal!

I purchased my first car in the UK last year from a local seller, and I can confidently say that from the sales team to the service department, they were exceptionally professional and eager to help. I felt secure and at ease throughout the entire process. Recently, I decided to trade in my car, and they were very supportive in facilitating the whole experience. I would highly recommend their services.
I purchased a vehicle in August and initially left a positive review, which I soon regretted. The car arrived with chipped paint and later I found a scratch on the roof. It was sold with an electrical issue and has been with a main dealer for three weeks. I was informed that it had been serviced, but a representative later revealed that only an oil change was performed. I emailed the seller on 26/11 but have not received a response, which is unprofessional. After reading other negative reviews, I realize this seller may not be trustworthy.
Although I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle from this location, I did leave a £100 deposit on one I liked. I was feeling a bit anxious, but Olivia provided reassurance that my deposit would be returned within 3-5 working days. After a week, on December 9th, the funds finally appeared in my account. Olivia was incredibly supportive during my visit, highlighting the car's features and truly engaging in helping me. I sincerely appreciate her assistance; she was a true gem in this process.
My experience purchasing a vehicle here was dreadful. I didn't receive the car on the promised day, leaving me stranded without explanation. When I finally interacted with the staff, they were rude and unprofessional. The salesperson was vaping during our transaction, showing little interest. Less than a week after getting the car, I had to return it due to issues that clearly hadn't been addressed. The car still had visible marks despite assurances they would be fixed. Overall, this dealership exhibited a complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers.
My experience with this company was terrible, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Some staff members were decent, but most were rude and failed to return calls. After purchasing a vehicle in July, warning lights appeared within five weeks. Initially, they refused to assist, claiming the car had a one-month warranty, but I reminded them of consumer rights. They made me drive 200 miles for repairs, which was unprofessional. After six weeks, they returned the car with the same issues. I requested a refund, but they continued to lie and provide poor communication.
