I just purchased a home and moved in on 11/13/2024. I contacted SCE to see if I was eligible for any rebates for the Google Next Thermostat. They advised was not because I have a OhmConnect account associated with my address. SCE advise I needed to contact OmhConnect an unlink my account. I called OhmConnect several times and emailed them several requesting to cancel my account. So far zero response. I would love to start a class action suite again OmhConnect. Would anyone like to join me?
DONT BUY FROM OHM TILL U READ THIS ONE TOOREAD UR CONTRACT, DONT TRUST THEM!!!!!!I purchased solar from OHM 1 yr n a few mo ago. I went over n over my contract w salesman multiple times b4 I purchased. I was told 85. For 1st 18 mo. Then went up to 118 or so after that. At no time did they ever advise me I had an over 6500.00 TIP pymt due prior to mo. 18. These guys r rip offs. Typical salesman. Jack said he'd be there anytime to help me after purchase, i can't even get him to text me back. All their office can say is I had that big balloon pymt due n that's why my pymt went up prior to mo. 18. Well their salesman never even went over then. Ive never heard the word TIP Until I just looked it up myself on Dividends website. don't buy from them!!!!
Horrible company. No customer service for New York. They only have a California number and they said someone will get back to me and I never heard from anyone.I think this is a scam. I had my handyman yesterday pull out my refrigerator I attempted to plug in the device but to no avail and since I never heard back from anyone I have to pay him again to push the refrigerator back in Stay away from this company
Can't get a "LIVE" Customer Support Rep or 800#. Says it's not connected but my fridge is plugged into it. Says I'm not connected via wifi but again Noone to help me and the minimal slip of paper instructions or assumption we all are internet / wifi savy.... Just need a call to help me get connected or understand why I'm not connected and also jot getting credits gor lights out 6-7 or 7-8pm as requested.
I just signed up for the OHM service and received the free OhmPlug. I followed the set up completely as it said. I plugged my stand up freezer into the plug. The next day I went to my freezer and it was not on. I unplugged it from the Ohmplug and back into the outlet and it came on. I tried plugging the Ohmplug into several other devices and appliances and nothing would work while plugged into this device. I am not sure how this plug is supposed to work. I also decided to purchase 6 more of the plugs prior to finding this out. I would also like to find out how to get a refund for the ones that I ordered and paid for.
they approved and turned on my Electric for my Garage and shop and sent me a Welcome letter and the contract but few hours after got message saying they would not provide Electric to my Garage because it wasn't a residence, at first they transfered power from another home on the property which was not suppose to be touched and that Company charged them with a $300 early termination fee and OhmConnect said they moved it back it was too late they still got stuck with termination fees and they had to go to a different company to get service restoredI DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY they are out of California STAY IN TEXAS where they treat people right
My provider just sold my brand new renewal contract with just few days over 30 days notice to Discount Power. Shopping around and calling providers to gauge service response. I have been in a bot queue for over 5 min to ask questions about their service. If I can’t even get through to a human now, what’s it going to be like if I am a customer? Similar problem with GoodCharlie. But at least bot told me there was a 10 minute wait. My current provider, Varsity Energy was excellent, local CS and answered on 2nd ring. Too bad they are selling out their customers! …After waiting 10 min in line, Ohm bot just said I could leave msg. Next!!
My experience with Ohmconnect was a rollercoaster of emotions. While the concept is great, the challenges of reducing electricity usage over time and the heavy emphasis on referral incentives left me feeling frustrated. The platform has potential, but it may not be suitable for everyone.
Have seen no real legitimate benefit and the "opportunities" or events to save on power are completely at random and they will text you like 5-10 minutes prior to it starting. So... Don't be in the middle of anything. They also give no indication for how long the events will last. 5 minutes? 10? An hour or more? No clue, they just let you know when it's done.I imagine there is a schedule they go off of but for whatever reason we are not privvy to that information. Can't speak for anyone else but I am rather fond of having a schedule or at least some notice for things that can affect flow of my day. Especially working from home.For whatever reason though they seem to run it like a middle school game of red light/green light and that just makes me anxious and angry. Will probably "spin the prize wheel" to burn up my points because the no notice "schedule" has killed my streak and I guess thats how you "save" by basically gambling for prizes, which seems questionable at best. Its like my power bill has awful loot boxes. Cool.
