My experience with Olympia publishers has been a cruise so far: they are patient and professional, listen to my needs and are more than willing to help in every stage of the publishing process. I can't know for sure how my book is going to sell as I am yet to experience the marketing stage with them, hence only 4 stars. Overall, I am very pleased with how things turned out and I can't wait to see my books printed and ready to be sold ! Thank you Olympia publishers for making a dream come true.
I can give my own experience.I’m looking at the other lower rate reviews and they scare me.But from my own experience I thought they were very efficient. They got back to me within the given timeframe. My co ordinator was very quick returning my emails. They acknowledged my decisions.I was happy with my book cover. When I was impatient about hearing back from other departments they kept me informed and apologized.They gave me updates on their progress. Overall I had a good experience with Olympia Publishing.
I paid almost 2500 £ for a 232 page book to them, waited almost three years for the release, at end a disgusting result, only thing they did was cover and backblurb, they did nothing to the manuscript, only took pictures out and left the comments in, many grammar mistakes, looked all in all as a mess, and zero marketing, they don't care how many get sold, they have your couple of thousand and they win and you loose
I have had a very devastating experience with this publisher and advise to anyone considering signing with them to reconsider.I have not yet received any royalties and sent countless emails.No marketing was done and despite any claims Olympia made to have sent out press releases, they did not.The worst was that upon my book release the colour, finish and quality of the book was horrible. I promoted the book myself and had over 100 people purchase. To my embarrassment they all received what look liked home job books. It was only randomly that the printer started printing the book normally (after I was already in discussions to leave the publisher).I am left heart broken and truly taken advantage of.P.s the non existent management won't ever contact you back and address issues. I have tried and tried.
My book was accepted for a hybrid publication contract and was finally published last year. Olympia did very little in terms of editing and they have done nothing to market it; any sales made have come from my own hard work at trying to generate some publicity. They are also refusing to pay my overdue royalties which seems to be a breach of the contract I signed with them. I can't get a response when I ask about escalating the issue. Avoid. I wish I'd have accepted with a different publisher now.
Olympia publishers have helped me make my dream become a reality in becoming an author having my first ever book to be released for the World to read and enjoy, they are a friendly and helpful company taking me through everything step by step and making this experience worth it, I look forward to working with them on my future projects too.
It took me many years of trying to get my novels published. I tried self-publishing and that caused me to go bald. Honestly I was very nervous going back and forth with structure and revisions and cover designs but in the end, my first novel has been published and the number and quality of sales sites that are now carrying my book is WAY beyond what I ever expected.
