I made a claim at 1am on Saturday night due to a severe water leak that collapsed the ceilings in the entire front of our home. I also disclosed to One Solution that I am pregnant and have two disabled children. One Solution have done absolutely nothing. I repeat absolutely nothing. No advice nothing to urgently mitigate or clean up my flooded home and most critically no emergency safety or accommodation for my disabled family. While halfway through my pregnancy I have been trying to clear up physical debris of flood mess in a structurally compromised house and keep my children safe. We ended up sleeping on the floor of our destroyed house as One Insurance did absolutely nothing. Two days of trying to get a response and nothing. It’s inhumane. I have given up and booked my family into a hotel which I have been forced to pay for myself while the water damage to my home is not being dealt with, and worsening. One of the appalling excuses I was given on the phone is that “systems don’t work at the weekend” we pay for emergency cover. Emergencies can happen any time. This company is not fit for purpose. The way we have been treated is unlawful, inhumane and totally unfit for purpose purpose.

Quick and easy,only problem is that after receiving a phone call (which was checked)we phoned back.The insurance was not due for a week later byt after going through with rep and paying I found that the monies had gone out and although not a problem others on a tight budget could suffer and it needs to be addressed that on being contacted and a courtesy reply to re-insure that customers are told payment is taken straight away. But the rep was pleasant and presented your insurance company very well.
