I received my first preorder after a purchase last year, and everything went smoothly. Kit provided fast and reliable service. My local courier wasn’t the best, but overall it was a great experience. I’ll definitely order again!
I preordered one 1/6 figure about a year ago trusting this website. As soon as the figure was officially released by the manufacterer, I got the invoice from Kit. The figure was shipped immediately after the payment. Purchased another figure right after that.Both were delivered very fast and in perfect condition. I was able to track both packages the whole time. Superb experience. Will definitely order here again!
If arguing with people on the internet was an Olympic sport give this guy the gold medal. He openly brags on social media about all the people that he has argued with or "blocked" to try and "bring down his workload". Will you have a good transaction with him? Possibly. Provided you don't have to have any contract with him whatsoever. But the moment anything doesn't go exactly according to plan this guy will flip on you. I unfortunately am the latest victim to witness this first hand.Here is my experience with the infamous "Kit Chen".I pre-ordered a figure with him a year ago that became ready to ship 2 days before I was heading overseas on a 3 week backpacking trip. So I contacted Kit and let him know I was going to be out of the country for 3 weeks and asked him if it would be okay to sort it when I returned so that the figure didn't sit on my door step for weeks while I was away open to the elements or theft. A fairly reasonable request I thought. I let him know the date that I would be flying home and he said it "should be okay" but to make sure I reply to the "last call email" when the invoice is going to expire. I knew I was going to backpacking with limited internet access so I offered to pay for the invoice in full ahead of leaving for my trip if that was easier and he refused to let me do that. He asked me to "Pls hold the payment" and reassured me that they "won't cancel your order in a sudden". So I left it at that. Thinking nothing more of it.Fast forward to 2 and a half weeks later and while I was atop a mountain with no internet I was given 48 hours to respond or my order would be cancelled. He then cancelled the order the day before I returned from my trip. I contacted him immediately upon my return and explained the situation and told him that I hadn't had access to internet so I had been unable to reply to him and that I was very sorry about that and that I was happy to pay the invoice immediately now I was back if he could reissue it. He refused and went on the attack. Sending me sarcastic screenshots circling parts of the message that he sent while I had no access to the internet. And then accused me of coming to "pick a fight" when all I did was apologise and explain my position and ask him if I could pay the invoice now as I didn't want to leave him out of pocket for a figure that he had sourced for me.Instead of trying to argue with me (something this guy clearly lives for) he could have just re-issued the invoice and I would have paid it, but the truth is this guy would rather pocket your deposit and not provide you with anything if you give him the opportunity. Consider spending your money elsewhere, it's not worth the hassle if something goes wrong. If you have to e-mail him with any customer service related query he takes this as a personal insult and will already be plotting the termination or your account and orders even if you remain polite throughout.Anyone brown nosing and worshiping this man child is purely doing so in the hopes of trying to avoid becoming his next target. There are plenty of other places that you can get your figures, even if it means paying a little more. Don't make the same mistake I did of thinking that it will be okay to order from him as long as you don't do anything wrong. Save yourself the headache.I write this post purely to warn others as I know Kit takes great pleasure in collecting these negative reviews and being an a-hole to people and I didn't really want to give him the satisfaction. But if this post helps even 1 person not end up in the same position that I did, then it will have been worth it.
I truly believe the people giving bad reviews are doing so for the hell of it. I’m a nineteen year old girl from the states, and this was my first time purchasing an action figure like this. I was nervous about it at first, but after extensive research, Kit was the only person I could find that was trustworthy. I pre-ordered the action figure along with another head sculpt in stock, and the head sculpt came in perfect condition within two weeks. Because all the research I did said it could take upwards to years for pre-orders to even reach Kit himself, I kicked my feet up and waited patiently. Well, fast forward about a year later when the emails came to notify the paypal invoices were sent, I missed them all! The order was rightfully cancelled, and I was frantic. I couldn’t believe I had made such a huge mistake and didn’t check my emails for so long. I emailed Kit immediately to explain myself and apologize profusely for not responding, and even though I would’ve completely understood if he didn’t even give me the time of day, he gave me another twenty-four hours to pay! The figure just came in perfect condition today, and I’m so excited to display it. Thank you, Kit!
They do not take responsibility for undelivered items. I ordered, first time ever, two action figures. The first was delivered to me the day after it was given as "officially" delivered by the courier (Imile Italy). I signalled them the problem. The second was given as "officially" delivered by Imile the same day they really delivered the first (but at a different hour). The second was never delivered. I wrote several mails to 4px, the courier used by Onesixthkit, Imile Italy and SDA (which is the Italian courier used by Imile here). I also tried to contact them by phone, but without any result. In the end, Onesixthkit said it was my problem ! And that my behviour (because I insisted it was their problem too: I paid them!) was such that they tended to side with the lies of the couriers!!!While I understand it wasn't Onesixthkit fault if the final courier lost or worse the item, it was their choice to use 4px-Imile-SDA, not mine, and it is unacceptable their behaviour, not very caring and professional."Only imile can help you in this case, if they agree with you the package is undelivered then we can revise the decision with 4px"Mr. Unprofessional, your words, after weeks of back and forth. "Only Imile can help you..." when I was telling you since the beginning they were not replying to my emails and the phone number was just leading to an auto system, saying in the end "we are sorry. We will check and let you know..."It was my first order to you? Yes, and so what? I, unfortunately, followed the advice of Justin's Collection on Youtube and tried your services...the worst I ever found, except for real cheaters. Never had other problems shipping to Italy? Lucky you, but here, on Trustpilot, look for reviews regarding Imile Italy and SDA and you will see that lost/stolen parcels are the norm. It is not casual they are the cheapest couriers in Italy.
Another faultless delivery this month from OSK. Kit is now one of my main sources of 1/6th and 1/12th figures, and I have a number of pre-orders I am looking forward too ✅So no issues from my end. But then I realise there are always delays outside the retailers control that they are not able to influence, and that the customer is NOT always right 🤪- So I don’t jump in demanding my NON REFUNDABLE deposit back for delayed figures ❌- I don’t THREATEN them with social media suicide or financial loss ❌- I don’t call them thieves and scammers when they hold to the T&Cs I agreed too ❌- I don’t try and scam them, I am just not that person ❌- I am not a self-entitled keyboard warrior who is used to arguing with no leg to stand on ❌But OSK do honour orders, and fully refund if the figure is cancelled. They do respond to civil comms, and also offer after sales service. But they are not miracle workers, so cannot solve all issues ✅>> Read through the reviews. Note the common traits. Then Buy or don’t Buy. OSK do report they have a heavy work load, so they arnt doing too badly without the 1 star reviewers orders 👍Last comment…. For many they would be better buying from local Retail where they can pick stock from the shelf. There they may be able to assert their personality more easily and get their way. But then many figures never make it into local retail or the price is inflated. You have to make concessions when pre-ordering from a distant seller where laws and culture differ ❤️
