Taking ENG4U with OVS was a great experience because of the flexibility to work at my own pace and quick, reliable feedback from my teacher. The reason I chose OVS instead of my regular day school is because it allowed me to complete my credit on my own timeline. The online resources within the program were very useful to ensure my assignments were done properly and well. Also, the support from my teacher was outstanding; whenever I had questions, I got quick, helpful responses. Overall, everything went how I planned it, if not better; this included having my final grade in report card form and being ready to send it to OUAC.
This was such a great way to earn a great mark! The teachers were quick and response and extremely helpful. This was certainly a highlight in my high school journey and helped me regain prominent understanding of key math concepts and I loved the experience! I certainly recommend.
I couldn’t ask for a better teacher, she marked my evaluations same day and was very fast to reply. When I faced issues the admin was fast to resolve it. The food and nutrition course is easy to follow and I was able to finish in less than a month, highly recommend if you need a credit fast.
I took SPH3U (Grade 11 Physics) with OVS and had a great experience from start to finish. The course was clear, well laid out, and easy to follow, which really helped make some of the harder topics more understandable. The website was simple to navigate and had everything I needed in one place. My teacher was supportive, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond whenever I had questions. Tests and exams were marked and returned really fast, which kept me on track and motivated. Overall, the course was the right mix of challenging but manageable, and I actually enjoyed the process of learning physics through OVS. I’d definitely recommend OVS for SPH3U or any other course!
As someone who goes to a regular day school, where marks are often determined by who your teacher is, OVS offers a wonderful solution to the stress of possibly doing bad in a course due to reasons not in your control. The content itself is very viable and similar to that of day school, the teachers mark tests and respond to any inquiries very quickly, and the overall setup of the service is wonderful. I thought the lessons were a bit confusing at times, and sometimes the assignments were difficult to comprehend in terms of wording. However, my teacher made it possible to understand everything. He always answered my questions and took a short time marking my tests. I found the course website to be easy to use, and I enjoyed not being in a rush to learn. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would honestly do it again.
I completed the NBE3U English course this summer, and I loved it! I loved being able to work at my own pace, and there was zero pressure to complete evaluations within a time limit. The lessons were well organized and related well to the assignments, test, and final exam. My teacher was amazing; she responded to any emails within hours and handed back evaluations within a day. I would recommend Ontario Virtual School to anyone, and I will definitely be completing another course in the future :)
