It was fantastic to take FSF3U with OVS. My instructor was incredibly helpful in providing guidance, instructions, and teaching the lesson modules. She would always promptly mark assignments and respond to any questions/emails in a timely manner and was incredibly understanding and kind. I really loved being able to take this course from the comfort of my own home too. The online practice was quite helpful in preparing me for the actual evaluations! Student success was also helpful! This course has been added to my transcript and I look forward to taking FSF4U next semester!
I had a positive experience with ovs doing grade 12 chemistry. I needed to take this course to fulfil a prerequisite for a university program and found that the content well prepared me for my science courses. I enjoyed the flexibility that ovs provides allowing me to do course material on my own time, in the comfort of my own home. My instructor marked all my assignments quickly and tries helping me as much as possible.
I took CHW3M (Gr. 11 World history to the end of the 15th century) with OVS and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The course was clear and well-structured, and the website was easy to navigate with all the useful components. My teacher was professional, intelligent and able to help me whenever I needed it. Teachers respond very promptly to emails, and all my tests and exams were marked and returned to me extremely quickly. Finally, I found the course to be a perfect mix of interesting, challenging, and manageable. I was thoroughly impressed every step of the way - I would highly recommend using OVS to complete any courses!
As a grade 12 student who was worried about my learning experience and grades for university I was very pleased with taking OVS. I was able to take my time completing my work while ensuring I learn all of the concepts in the course fully. Overall, very happy with the course and the support from the school that lead to my success.
I recently completed SPH3U-11 (Grade 11 Physics) with Ontario Virtual School. The experience was excellent from start to finish.The best part of taking the course with OVS was the flexibility—I could move at my own pace and fit the course around my schedule while still receiving great support from my teacher. My instructor always responded to questions quickly, and marking was done promptly, which kept me motivated and on track.I chose OVS because it gave me the chance to take a course outside of my regular day school in a way that was both efficient and convenient. The course was great! there was not a lack of course work, and the optional assessments were great for reviewing content that you were not familiar with. I liked that fact that you could work at your own pace, and the support from the chat was fast and effective. I really enjoyed this course and felt like a learned a lot.
