I pulled a muscle between the shoulder blade and spine (whilst trying to separate a large pot bound plant from its pot). The result was not only a pain at the site of the injury but referred pain over the shoulder and down my arm.Over the counter anti-inflammatories did not work, prescribed versions gave me weird headaches and insomnia. I had not been to an Osteopath before but I am really glad that I was persuaded to.I chose Molly Brown of Osteo & Physio in Honiton High Street because of her excellent qualifications and experience. Who wants to risk your joints being manipulated by an amateur?The trial session improved the condition and after two more sessions of massage and manipulation the nagging pain is now gone. The straightforward daily exercises complemented the treatments and were instrumental in the recovery.Worth every penny!
I have used osteo physio on several occasions and this was my first time seeing Alice. I had a back, neck and shoulder massage. Alice was professional throughout and I felt comfortable. She asked me about pressure preference and was thorough in her massage, working on trouble areas. Will be visiting again for sure.

Osteo Physio, Honiton High Street. My second session with Lisa, physio therapist, today and must say as good as the first session. During the first session Lisa kindly went through exercises that would strengthen my core. Also forwarded the plan to my email to enable me to exercise safely at home. I enjoy doing the exercises and already feel that I'm getting a lot stronger.
