Extremely disappointing experience with the staff

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the staff who made me feel embarrassed for using a voucher. They looked at me as if I were inferior to others. Additionally, the pastries tasted stale, and honestly, there are much cheaper and fresher options elsewhere, where the staff seem genuinely happy to welcome customers.

I’d prefer a different option

Looks good but lacks quality

All style, no substance. I grabbed a coffee and croissant to go this morning. The croissant was subpar and too light, reminiscent of supermarket offerings. I was really let down. It had an appealing appearance but felt insincere.

A delightful experience!

I truly enjoy this place in Kingston. They offer a wide variety of bakery items, all perfectly sized, especially the strawberry ones. I’ve tried nearly everything and noted my favorites. For me, the croissants and any strawberry treats are the best. The place is always bustling with customers, and we're happy to wait as long as we love the food and drinks. Today, I bought two strawberry pies—delicious! A staff member helped pack my items, and I just want to express how much I enjoyed everything. Great experience!

One star feels too generous

One star feels too generous. I encountered such rudeness from a supervisor at a location on a busy street. None of the staff would share her name despite my explanation of her behavior. She should know better than to treat customers poorly. I hope those in charge take note of my feedback, as reaching out to higher management seems futile. I will never return to this place. Given the other reviews, I don’t feel guilty posting this—0/10, as the company clearly lacks concern!

Nice experience at Oxford Circus branch

The Oxford Circus branch is quite pleasant. The manager is excellent and recognizes the regular customers, which adds a nice touch.

Horrible service with no accountability

Absolutely awful service. I received an incomplete order for my daughter's birthday, missing the main item, the candles. The response was for me to order more items before they would send the candles. They refused to take responsibility for their mistake. They suggested I collect it myself, which isn’t feasible for me. They completely disregarded their responsibility and showed no interest in fixing the situation, ruining a family event. Extremely poor service—truly less than a 1 star.
