PayPal offers good services overall, but I strongly advise against using a PayPal Philippines account. If your account becomes locked or compromised, there is practically no local support available.
There is no Philippine customer service number, and instead, you will be directed to call a U.S. hotline: +1 402-935-2050. After calling, you may be transferred between different agents, only to eventually be told that they cannot support PayPal accounts registered in the Philippines.

As an interested party I believe that there is a scam ring operating within PAYPAL PHILIPPINES. A long term PayPal customer a single mum with 4 children had her account frozen the day that a Philippines goverment Social Security Service payment was made to her account payment from the death of her father some 6 months earlier. Why?However it is known that if you contact the right member of staff they can unfreeze the account for differing amounts depending on the amount of funds being held. Makes you wonder if the accounts being frozen are buy fellow team members to scam customers or. A real PayPal algorithm? As a UK PAYPAL FROM way back when they were just the EBay payment arm I find it disgusting what happening in thePhilippines to people who are dependent on these payments coming through. DO NOT USE PAYPAL TO TRANSFER MONEY TO ANYONE IN THE PHILIPPINES
I do business,I buy things in Dubai and send them to five county in Africa I have been trying to creat a Paypal account.i couldn't I don't know how and why is not giving.i really need things account to be doing my transactions.
SCAM REMITTENCE GROUP. I sent a 3000 php transfer from Denmark to Philippines through PayPal. BAD IDEA!! It cost me 8% of amount to transfer! They refused to release the money for 21 days. They hold on to the money to make interest on it, after taking 8%!!! I believe this involves criminal abuses. I plan on filing a police report. The beneficiary needed the money. They brought the poor woman to tears, making spurious claims about her. A good person from a good family. Just poor. Her offense? Receiving a small amount of money as a gift. PayPay guarantees immediate receipt. IT'S A SCAM!!! NEVER TRANSFER TO PHILIPPINES WITH PAYPAL. THEY CAN HOLD YOUR MONEY WITHOUT CAUSE OR JUSTIFICATION. CAVEAT EMPTOR!! BEWARE. THEY THEN REFUSED TO THE SEND MONEY RETURN TO SENDER, AS WELL. HIGHLY SUSPECT OPERATIONS!!! BAD NEWS. BAD BUSINESS. 👈
My account is being limited due to an unknown reason when I received my first payment so please enable it again because I didn't do any violation of PayPal policies, this is due to your algorithm mistake. Please process it ASAP.
Poor customer service! I've talked to 7 different person and they all hung up on me because thay cannot resolve their own issue! They cannot resolve the OTP issue(users aren't receiving the OTP) and they said that I need to contact my account manager whom I never met. I asked for the email address or contact number but they cannot provide me with anything. Basically, they want me to face the wall and pray that a miracle will happen.

WHY WOULD YOU LET YOUR CUSTOMER WAIT FOR 180 DAYS WHEN I AM NOT DOING ILLEGAL MATTERS? THE MAIN REASON WHY I SET UP THE ACCOUNT IS TO EARN SIDE HASSLES DURING THIS PANDEMIC WHEN IT'S A LOT SAFER TO WORK ONLINE. HOW CAN I USE THE MONEY FOR MY FAMILY'S EXPENSES!!!!
