The customer service team at Sherpr were great, both before I placed an order with them when they helped me get my shipment arranged properly, and afterwards when there was an issue with customs that they contested for me. The only issue I encountered was with Fedex incorrectly charging me import tax on items I was shipping from NL to the UK, despite me having a proper ToR1 form filled out, but Sherpr contested the charge on my behalf and I got my things shipped in the end without too much delay and without having to pay the tax. Fedex customer service was actually useless when I called them, so I recommend always going to Sherpr first. They also quoted me a much lower cost than a lot of other couriers. Would recommend! Only criticism is that on their website, when you have to upload your documents, it's not made clear whether I should upload my proof of address for the country I'm shipping from or to, I had to use chatgbt to help me fill it in, but only a small detail.
Brilliant service. Helped particularly by Joana Batista, always available at the end of a mobile phone (WhatsApp enabled). Shipped 7 big 25kg boxes from Spain to UK for £354 - house-removers wanted £1150. Arrived 6 calendar-days after collection in perfect condition. Couldn't ask for better.
My experience with the service was extremely frustrating. I faced significant issues while trying to arrange a pickup from my hotel in Paris for a trip to Amsterdam. I booked the pickup for November 6, but upon arriving in Amsterdam, I discovered from the hotel staff that my bags had not been collected. By the following Tuesday, with no sign of my bags, I had to cancel the service, return to Paris, and hire a car service to retrieve my luggage myself. This resulted in a wasted day and unnecessary expenses. Throughout this ordeal, I attempted to reach the support team via their chat line, receiving only apologies and empty promises about further attempts to collect my bags. Ultimately, it took weeks to receive a refund. I would not recommend this service again; it felt misleading, as I realized too late that it was essentially a relay to another courier, which was not made clear when I first booked.
Stay away from this service at all costs. Firstly, they are not the actual shipping provider; they collaborate with another courier and therefore have no knowledge of your shipment's whereabouts. If your items go missing, you won't receive any help from the support team, as they rarely answer calls and only respond to emails if you resort to threats. My shipment took four weeks to arrive, was severely damaged upon delivery, and I received no compensation whatsoever. Additionally, the company charges excessively and employs deceptive tactics, like ignoring requests when items are damaged, making false claims about goodwill, and misrepresenting their ability to match prices. This has been the most frustrating experience I've ever encountered, and I strongly recommend against using their services. The company also makes efforts to remove negative reviews from public platforms.
