I wanted to use a local independent company and I am so glad I did, from start to finish the team at Pedders made everything so easy and they were always there and very helpful on any queries/questions I had. It was always a pleasure to talk to Mollie my go to girl!
We worked with Robin when moving into our rental flat and he was great to work with. He quickly got back to us after we put in our application and helped ensure the move in process was smooth. When I recently got stuck outside due to a sticky front door, Robin came himself to help get it open. Wonderful experience so far working with the whole team at Pedder.
Unfortunately we've been unlucky on our side... we've had multiple issues in the flat we are renting that have been left unresolved for months on end despite us constantly chasing via emails and phone calls. There is a huge lack of communication between the agency, the tenants, and the landlord, resulting in no follow-ups and persistent lack of maintenance.We are sensible tenants who take excellent care of the flat and who always pay our rent and bills on time. It's been extremely disappointing to see an agency praising itself for its 'excellency' disregard tenant care in this manner.
I sold my flat through Pedder's Sydenham branch earlier this year. The first set of buyers dropped out after three months through no fault of Pedders but within 2 weeks they had found me committed new buyers who offered more and the sale went through very quickly. They were incredibly supportive and responsive - answering phone calls and emails immediately and providing clear and transparent information at all times. My thanks especially to Cansu and Natasha.
