As a trade customer always been happy with quality of parts supplied but on this occasion a big let down. Fitted a diesel pump which lasted 10 miles and then failed, they had it back and tested to find 100%faulty and supplied another unit but won't do a thing about the 4 hours I am put of pocket. Paid over the odds for the part which I was aware as wanted the quality but on this occasion really wish I hadn't. When questioned was told it was all in there terms and conditions, does this make it right?
AVOID!!!AVOID THIS COMPANY FOR INJECTOR RELATED ISSUES.I would not use this company again for injector issues. I had six injectors tested by PF Jones Manchester after a garage recommended them, which cost me £180. The next day, they told me all six injectors had failed their test. They offered me the choice of new or reconditioned injectors, both with a 12‑month warranty, so I chose the reconditioned ones for £336. Please note they keep your original injectors if you opt for reconditioned ones. After having them fitted, I immediately heard a ticking/knocking sound coming from the engine when driving. I took the vehicle to a specialist garage, who confirmed the injectors were faulty. I then had second‑hand injectors fitted by them, and the ticking/knocking noise disappeared straight away. When I returned the faulty injectors to PF Jones, the customer service was negative and completely different from when I first had my original injectors tested. They even struggled to recognise their own injectors, claiming the numbers on labels were missing and blaming the condition on other factors. After carrying out their in‑house test, they told me the injectors were “firing fine” and blamed the fault on anything else but the PF Jones injectors. I repeated that the noise had gone as soon as their injectors were removed, but they still refused to refund me, even though I had used them for only 16 days. For anyone considering buying or testing injectors, my advice is not to trust their tests. They will likely fail all your injectors, leaving you feeling stuck and pressured into buying replacements from them with a 12‑month warranty. But if an issue occurs, they will blame something else and leave you in a difficult position.I have been driving for over 20 years. I have experienced many mechanics and related companies. This is my honest review of the experience with PF Jones Manchester.I hope this review will help someone save time and money. The experience occurred in February 2026.AVOID THIS COMPANY.
