We purchased a Peugeot 108 in January. Shabir was very friendly to deal with and the transaction seemed smooth to begin with and they did the service and MOT on the vehicle before collection however, they did not valet before collection but did give us £50 off so we were OK with this.They had computer problems so could not give us the green slip and emailed us a copy of the V5, MOT and HPI check. Knowing that email copies can be used in a court of law, we were ok getting an email copy.He said he would send the information to DVLA to register the vehicle in my husband's name.We went back the following week but he wasn't there. We spoke with colleague and he took a copy of driving licence. We phoned on the following day (Sunday) and were assured that the V5 transfer had been done.4 weeks later, we didn't receive V5. We called DVLA and they advised that it had not been transferred. We spoke with the dealership again and he said that he would speak with DVLA and call back. He didn't call back so we called and were told DVLA had no record so he advised to do a V62 and send a cheque for £25 which he would refund as he said DVLA had lost it. We haven't received the refund and the car has now been in an accident and written off. And it was interesting to find out that the car had already been in an accident and the cross member had been replaced badly.However, the dealership may not have been aware of that.So buyer be aware. This is just our experience. If you have a great experience, great.
Had to travel down 3 hours to collect the van only to find out my finance company had not yet paid out, luckily shabir was very friendly ans helpful and managed to sort everything out. Saved me a headache and another trip down, very helpful staff and he threw in a free drive away insurance as well. Would use again and recommend
