PiShock is a generally very ethical choice for the adult toy market, and while their communication is excellent — CEO Lethos is generally honest about issues with shipping and product experience — there are a number of issues that must have attention brought to them.

The hubs that PS manufacturers are high-quality and reliable; in the event one is broken (mine did during shipping!) the customer support team is helpful and sends a replacement device, no-questions asked.

The shocker, on the other hand, is difficult to talk about. PS offers a number of good services, including spacers and custom straps. Unfortunately, the shocker itself is overpriced and an exact copy of a model that can be found on AliExpress and other retailers. I am hesitant to use the “dropshipping” word, given that PS offers extra services for their sold shockers, but it should be known that the shockers can be found cheaper elsewhere. I would recommend buying a hub from PS and your shockers elsewhere if you are experienced in the adult toy market — newcomers should buy directly from PS, as it simplifies the buying process and includes better customer service than other retailers.

I do not have any experience with Babble to comment on it, but my friends have said it is a great product with good customer service.

The software produced and maintained by PiShock is of variable quality. MultiShock, their external integrations app, is very buggy in my experience with high latency. The PiShock dashboard itself also struggles with latency issues, not to mention a difficult to use UX/UI.

I personally would recommend using your PiShock hardware with OpenShock, an open-source variant that provides a better experience than PiShock in my view. It is not surprising that OS has better performance than PS, as OS has more people working on it. OS also features OpenShock Desktop, which is effectively MultiShock with less user accessibility. If you’re uncomfortable flashing your hub to an open-source firmware, stick with PS’s stuff.

In short: Good support team, ethical practices, good hardware, consider switching your supplier for software and shockers if you’re serious about the adult toys market. I will continue to rely on PS for hub support even if I prefer OpenShock.

I purchased a project babble last year in the summer. It was promised to ship many different times with various excuses as to why it was delayed. Even as others were shipping, there was no word. Finally, the item started tracking and it was immediately returned to sender because of a customs mix-up. The response of the company was not that apologetic, but more of the "we are going through this together with you guys." I still haven't gotten the item. Since I ordered it, most of my friends stopped playing VR sadly so I don't have much of a use for it when it does end up arriving. It's honestly a bit of a joke at this point. It might not be a good idea to presell products a year in advance without a time guarantee. Absolute waste of money and time.

I have been waiting Endlessly

I have been waiting on a order I was promised in December pushed back to January 5th and then 12th. I was told the object shipped and over a month later I was informed it's been deployed to dispatch and when I finally asked to cancel my order due to obviously not getting it I was told I cant. Seriously find anyone else or buy second hand they are awful. [In reply to their responce. I would like to state my greviences do not lay with their delays however with the constant false promises on shipping. I understand these are small teams of people with little corporate or mass production experience. However you cant keep delaying your shipping after you've sent out notifications your product is out to ship. And I am fully aware customs is out of their control but seriously we are paying 30% of the cost of the product to recive our parcels which wasnt informed to us until 4 months after preorder. Not their fault but it's pretty insane.] My product was shipped then immediately returned to sender...

Overpriced, consider OpenShock

If you're thinking of buying a Pishock you probably haven't heard of OpenShock. Check out OpenShock first! The components of these hubs is worth max 10 bucks each and the shockers are worth max 20 bucks each, all can be sourced cheaply elsewhere.Pishock overprices their product greatly and justifies it with their software, development and services but all of these are lacking. Support in their discord is slim and for example one of their biggest selling point apps, MultiShock, is currently broken and not being updated as the dev himself admitted to prioritising other projects. and since this software is closed source and he's a solo dev it doesn't get worked on at all. The dev of MultiShock also has several AI generated software projects which leaves me very little faith in the likelihood or quality of future updates to that software.Overall when I discovered OpenShock exists and has better software, great community support, a working Discord bot and a working Desktop app, I realised I felt completely scammed by this company. and their returns policy are obviously not great but this is justified by "it comes into contact with your body". If they really believe in their product and services and respect their users it would make a lot more sense to proportionally increase the cost of the hub and lower it for the shockers which they do nothing to develop except print their logo on - and then accept no questions asked returns of the hubs. If you charge 90-100 bucks for a hub and 25 for a shocker, it'd still be pretty scammy feeling but a lot better for those users who decide after use they don't want the product anymore.

Great fun online

What can I say this little device or collection is so much fun, it’s got a great community & a dev that interacts with everyone in that community, only thing I would say is it really needs an app rather than a web page but that’s also on the way & it’s not a massive team so I’m waiting that one out.Good with Pishock I’ve had mine for 2 years now & im not board

Good product with a terrible user interface and documentation

Upside. The shockers are good and deliver the expected results, they gave my partner lots of fun. Good quality productDownsideComes with no documentation, just QR codes to a rather useless website with no support. They seem to have spent more time on fancy packaging and creating their own terrible user interface with too many of the wrong controls. After much messing about I have only succeeded in setting up three shocker all of which respond as one. Frankly useless. No way, that I have found, to remove, delete or reset an shocker and to start again.I would not recommend unless you want to spend days trying to find answers to very basic questions only to be diverted to non-existent support via apps like discord. A nightmare

High-quality, fun product

The makers of Pishock provide extensive technical support, a direct link to a welcoming community of fellow users, numerous safety warnings and features to improve the experience of the user, and plenty of access to an API to build or use external services and devices with the product. The packaging is high-quality and smartly done, and device setup, reset and configuration is quite easy. Definitely a much better experience than I expected.Additionally, the mounting brackets (“spacers”) are very intuitive and useful, and the company offers several high quality straps to secure the devices. The experience of using them is very enjoyable, personally, thanks to the fine-grained control and variety of options available. Would recommend.
