Our visit to West Wales was quite disappointing. The atmosphere was chaotic with children running around. The ordering process through the app was complicated, and it quickly lost our interest, yet it was necessary to access the deals. The pizza we received was terrible, and the side orders were equally unappetizing, particularly the dough balls. We felt cheated, especially with cold coffee included. We spent £65 for three poorly cooked pizzas, four drinks, and two unsatisfactory side dishes, even with one pizza supposedly free. The playground outside could have been nice, but the noise from the children made the dining experience frustrating.
Our trip to West Wales was a major letdown. The atmosphere was chaotic with noisy children everywhere. The app's ordering system was overly complex, and it quickly became frustrating, despite being necessary for deals. The pizza we received was dreadful, and the side orders, especially the dough balls, were unappetizing. We felt ripped off, especially with cold coffee included. We paid £65 for three poorly prepared pizzas, four drinks, and two disappointing side dishes, even with one pizza being free. The nearby playground could have been enjoyable, but the noise from the kids ruined the dining experience.
The food was tasty, but the pizza crust was disappointingly thin. Holding it up revealed the toppings underneath. While it had good flavor, it didn't seem worth the price. Additionally, the waitress appeared to be in a bad mood, barely interacting with us. When I didn't leave a tip, her attitude worsened, and she ignored us completely. This made the experience quite unwelcoming.
We visited a restaurant at Cribbs Causeway and encountered several issues. The disabled access button was out of order, and we waited a long time before being seated. Although the food was good, the service was excruciatingly slow. I ordered a hot chocolate that took so long to arrive that I almost canceled it. The waitress did apologize, but we were relieved to leave once we paid the bill. This was disappointing compared to our previous visits.
I used to enjoy dining at various locations, but the brand has significantly declined. The quality of ingredients has worsened, service has deteriorated, and the ambiance now feels tired and cheap. It's a sad example of how short-term cost-cutting can ruin a business. Trust has been lost, and I no longer feel inclined to return.
We frequently visit this chain at various locations, but this branch was a letdown. The chicken starter was served cold, the dough balls were tiny, and the pizza lacked sufficient tomato. Service was slow, even though the restaurant was busy with staff present. Only a couple of employees seemed engaged, while others appeared indifferent. Overall, it was a disappointing experience compared to the usual standard.
What a ripoff! We decided to eat here while shopping, but the prices were exorbitant for small portions. My lasagna was £18.95 for a tiny serving, and my wife's pasta dish was even smaller. Service was lacking as the staff seemed overwhelmed. The food tasted fine, which is why I gave it two stars, but the cleanliness of the restroom left much to be desired. I won't be returning.
I ordered pizzas on New Year’s Eve that arrived stone cold and inedible. The branch didn’t answer the phone for two hours, and when they finally did, they offered no solution. I contacted support, which was closed until January 3. I requested a full refund, and after finally receiving a response on January 6, they confirmed my order took 75 minutes to arrive. They even suggested a discount on a future order, which felt unreasonable given the situation. This experience ruined my night, and I have no intention of ordering again.
At the Dorking location, the staff were friendly, and the food, especially the pizza, was good. It was quite busy on a Friday evening, which is understandable. The only downside was that we were never offered water, and due to the crowd, we couldn't order drinks. I would still recommend this place.
Our visit to the Ashford Outlet was disappointing. The food arrived in stages and with an attitude. One waiter seemed resentful while bringing us undercooked polenta chips. There was no draught beer available, only bottles. The waitress didn’t understand my request for light tonic water, and we were frequently ignored with empty glasses. No one offered to clear our plates or suggest desserts. Getting the bill was a hassle, and it was just dumped on the table. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the waitress shrugged it off. I’ve since learned that friends had similar experiences. We won't be returning.
