Rito’s was founded by Rosemary & José Salinas in June of 1977. Originally, Rito’s was a small neighborhood market, at 14th Street & Garfield, next to the Salinas’ family home but they quickly transformed into a takeout restaurant where you can still find some of the valley’s most highly regarded burritos & tacos. Throughout the past decade, Rosemary’s daughter, Charlotte, has carried the torch at Garfield, Surprise, Crown (uptown) and now the newly opened Mesa location! This is made possible with the support of her husband, David and the dedicated help of her sister Cathy and niece Angelica; children Daniel, Matt & David Jr, Candace, Frances & Vanessa; and of course long time staff members Cindy, Sylvia, and Tina who have been with the company for decades. We appreciate all of the support we have received from our great employees & loyal customers over our 45 plus years of business that have made this possible.
