Absolutely amazing stay

Absolutely amazing stay, Plas Weunydd is the perfect stay for a little getaway. The rooms and reataurant was absolutely gorgeous, so clean and the decor was so homely. We had breakfast and dinner here which were both fabulous. You can really tell it’s ran by an amazimg team with attention to details. They even put balloons and banners in the room for my boyfriend’s birthday. We absolutely loved it here, thaks so much!☺️❤️

Plas Weunydd amazing

Plas Weunydd, it's a great stay, there's a warm welcome from all the staff, you can bring your dog too, there's great views, sitting places outside for them summer times with a glass or two, we recommend the sparkling rose, or them damp cold evenings sit inside in the warmth, also a log fire awaits you there we recommend the bottle of malbec, sleep peacefully in their comfy beds, showers are powerful you wake up refreshed, and look forwrds after a good breakfast to cease the day, with great walks, up the mountains,or why not see how the miners worked down the deepest mine, if your OK with heights the zip wire would be good also, or take a walk to the quaint town of blaenau, take the Ffestiniog railway to Porthmadog, or see the castle of carnarvon where king Charles was crowned the prince of Wales. Where ever your plans are, start it from your stay at plas Weunydd with a clear head after a good night sleep.

Wonderful location with excellent staff to look after you. Stayed 3 nights in hotel and it was a perfect location to explore Snowdonia and North Wales. Breakfast was excellent and room was extremely comfortable. I'll definitely be going back

The customer is the heart of this…

The customer is the heart of this hotels business model. The best nights sleep in a long time. Friendly staff, accommodating, above and beyond. A special shout out to Charlie. Your kind gesture did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated.

Our second stay this year

Our second stay this year, and it just as lovely as the first. We was in a king room this time and although it was lovely, ee agreed that we actually preferred the double we had in May, simply for the view it gave us. Lovely staff, so polite, happy, friendly and helpful. Food was nice at dinner and drinks are very reasonably priced. We will definitely return for trio 3 in 2026!

Stunning, comfortable welcoming experience

This was a lovely place to stay out in the mountains away from everything, which makes it the experience that it advertises. Hotel was very clean, room was lovely and cosey with great views of mountains, And so quite.Staff was so helpful and friendly with a very welcoming environment, log fire was so cozy in the bar. I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic place to stay

We stayed in the glamping tents and had a wonderful time. We arrived on a windy day but once inside it instantly felt cosy. Touches like the hot water bottles on each bed were really lovely in addition to the lovely log burner. They’re equipped with everything you need and more. All staff were friendly and helpful. A big thank you for a memorable stay.

Unbelievably bad experience

We arrived on Saturday 14/9/25 for two night stay. We were told we had not paid. When disputed it was found we had. Bedroom 10 was small and the en-suite tinny. We booked dinner for 7.30pm. There were very few in the dining room. We were asked if we wanted a drink, I ordered a tomato juice. The waitress looked surprised and had never heard of it! She offered me lemon and lime cordial, I declined and ordered a Perrini beer, it arrived in a plastic glass with Ice! The menu was very poor a limited, I was told this was because they only had a small kitchen. We just ordered a starter and departed. All the staff were very rude. Breakfast was worse, very limited hot food with cold plates. We were told we were late arriving at 9.50am. The reception had told us breakfast was served until 10.30am one rude member of staff said we should have arrived at 8am There was no apple juice or glasses. Scrambled egg was cold. We asked for tea on three occasions. Waitress said she was busy. It arrived after twenty minutes! We were addressed by a member of staff who identified we were not happy. She gave us the option to check out and give us a refund which we accepted. We were told to reception and they would organise. We did and they said they could not process our refund. The following day they took another payment, not a refund. It has now all been refunded today. What a shambles, we would never visit again. There are better options around. Be careful a horrible experience. Martyn & Elizabeth Dury
