Review Time
Pluralsight saved my life several times. I learned specific topics and implemented in my projects. I want to add only one thing, I know Pluralsight is not a university, it is for professionals. But still it would be great if there are some good courses for fundamental concepts like Databases (not sql), networking, etc for developers like Kubernetes for developers from Dan Wahlin. Thanks for the opportunity.
Pluralsight has been a huge enabler to me in my IT career. Anytime I need to architect solutions and don't have experience with specific technologies, I go to Pluralsight to train up quickly. I love how you can go as deep as you want with a technology. The plethora of content authors helps to round out teaching styles and perspectives too! Keep on rockin it Pluralsight!
I am surprised there are so many negative reviews on Pluralsight. The subjects within the courses is well explained and there are certainly things you wont learn anywhere else. Very good selection of content, strictly following the code along files. This is where i started really learning..
Don't take subscription because when you will go for a subscription that time they will show you that you will get the access of all the course but once you will take the subscription you will 1 or 3 courses even less than or nothing. So please be alert I have waste15k behind this. If you don't have trust in mine first take monthly subscription you will get the whole clarity.
Okay tutorials not enough content to warranty the £24 per month it costs. but found that some have important exercise files missing. Also their Help & Tech support seems non-existent - after messaging them for help with playback and sound issues I received zero replies. Due to this I cancelled the subscription after the 2nd month and honestly feel a bit ripped off.
They have an subscription auto renewal that is a joke. It will auto renew on you on a specified date(1 year usually). You have to contact them in a 30 day window PRIOR to the auto renewal or "gee too bad our hands are tied you are locked in for a whole year a this # of subscriptions". When you talk to the sales person they drone on about accounts receivable and contacting "accounts receivable" just won't let us change anything. It really feels like you are talking to a used car salesmen telling you to get the "tru-coat" to protect your paint job from harsh winters. They don't listen and are completely inflexible with there license model. I could go on but if you deal with them be sure you know your subscription end date.
We have been a customer for 2 years, with ~15 annual paid licenses. Our training budget was decimated by Covid-19 impacts and we wanted to discontinue prior to the renewal date. We were told that there is a firm 30 day cutoff for cancelling (prior to renewal). Keep in mind, we didn't get 30 days of Free April for my team as I was a paying customer. They were also un-willing to decrease our license requirements by even a single user to accommodate for an employee who left the organization. Stood firm by the contract with no wavering. Certainly not a partner.
