Do Yourself a Favor and Take the Plunge with Pluralsight

I have used Pluralsight off and on over the years working at Microsoft. This last black Friday, I got a great offer for a year of it and decided to take advantage, as I was looking to do something new, so new skills would be of value. Now I am working at a startup and in implementing a new product after a lot of research, I found half a dozen videos for the product on Pluralsight. These have been awesome in providing not only the basics, but also how to avoid gotchas in implementation. A great purchase, worth every penny.

Wide Range of I.T. Training Offerred.

I use Pluralsight regularly to both learn new technologies and broaden my knowledge of existing ones. For I.T. technical training, Pluralsight offers a wide range of topics. In fact, there are more courses than there is time to do them!

Pluralsight is Excellent

Pluralsight is an excellent repo for those who want to excel in their IT career. It provides a rich set to courses for different levels. Moreover, the trainers themselves are competent in the subject they teach.

Worth it!

If I had to give my review of Pluralsight in one word, I would say...Awesome! There are so many options of courses available to help get that specific certification you are looking for. Depending on the plan that is chosen, there are excellent practice exams available that definitely help to ace that exam! If I was asked if I plan on renewing my subscription, I would say absolutely!

I love Pluralsight except for one…

I love Pluralsight except for one thing. They have great tutorials and they have kept me in the loop with the ever faster changing technology out there, especially for software engineering. I am mainly a .NET developer and the last few years has seen so much change that many of the developers I have worked with just couldn't keep up and ended up leaving. Pluralsight has been my number one tool for this. There is one thing that I wish Pluralsight would change. They have monthly membership pricing for there basic tutorials but this doesn't include there newer content. For this you have to pay the yearly subscription price upfront. I have a family and I can't afford to pay all of this up front so have had to turn to other companies to keep up like Packt etc.. I hope in the future they change this.

Organization of discussion board

It could be nice to have a discussion board per item, as Udemy provides. Now discussions are all grouped together.

I would give 0 starts if I could

I would give 0 starts if I could. Poor customer service. Watch your renewal- the will renew you for an entire year and refuse to cancel you even though you've sent an email cancellation request. I've been going back and forth for a month now with no resolve.
