I subscribed on November 11, 2025 — BIG MISTAKE!!!

I was charged in December. I contacted customer support and they told me they would refund the money. I was charged again in January 2026 and sent another email. I received no response. In February 2026, I was charged again by Podimo.

I have sent another email, but I think I will have to go to the bank or even the police because you keep charging me. You are thieves. I have the emails as proof, and judging by the comments, you are doing this to everyone.

Also, I live in the UK and Podimo is not available on Apple UK. What you are doing is completely illegal.

I cancelled my subscription back in…

I cancelled my subscription back in October 2025. After receiving an email confirmation I thought that was it and even praised them for their excellent customer service and quick reply. I only realised now that they continued charging me and I was told I would not be able to receive a refund since refunds are only applicable within the 14-day withdrawal period. Seems like I am not the only one that has happened to.

Sadly a very bad experience, used to love this app

I used to have a subscription but cancelled it in August thinking everything was dealt with. However, I just discovered that I was still being charched (I know I should have noticed this sooner) but since I had used Facebook for my sign up it was aparently not enough to unsubscribe in my Apple account ( which I did not know and I was under the impression was unsubscribed). I have a reciept of the unsubsciption back from August but since my e-mail was not in the account the unsubscription was not “valid”… how I should have known I have no idea… Even though I have used the app zero times since August there is aparently nothing to do now.. waste of money. Just be aware of this if you do decide to sign up. Which you should not.

I find the subscription model…

I find the subscription model problematic. To access the free trial, you are required to start a paid subscription that renews automatically unless you cancel in time. In my opinion, this approach is poor business ethics.

Have taken a payment from me for 99kr…

Have taken a payment from me for 99kr yet I have NEVER signed up for this service. There is NO trace of any subscriptions in my apple account. Why would I subscribe to an audio service in a foreign language, especially as I already subscribe to Audible in my own language. Strangely enough, I can log into an account through my apple account that has an appleid in the email section for my account but there is absolutely no trace of any transaction between this company and myself. There is nothing in my iCloud account, emails or subscriptions to show that I have entered into a payment contract with Podimo. I have reported this to the bank as fraud. Avoid at all costs.

Disappointing experience

Ok app but be aware! When I tried to cancel the subscription before the trial period ends, I saw on my screen "we have sent you the confirmation to your email". I never got this email and they charged me the next month's fee. This is how they make money I guess... Customer service wasn't helpful at all which made me whole experience very disappointing 👎

Podimo has been withdrawing money from…

Podimo has been withdrawing money from my bank account for months, even though I have had no active subscription since 2023. I have sent them clear evidence: bank statements, my Apple ID subscription overview (where Podimo does not appear, active or inactive), and my contact details.Instead of solving the issue, Podimo keeps asking for unnecessary and privacy-sensitive data (Apple ID aliases, hidden emails, and virtual Apple Pay card numbers). This goes far beyond what is reasonable under the GDPR. I am not obliged to hand over my full Apple account details just because Podimo cannot trace their own administration.Legally, these withdrawals qualify as unjustified charges. The burden of proof lies with Podimo, not with me. Yet after multiple emails, they still have not refunded the money.This is a serious warning: if Podimo cannot guarantee transparent billing and proper customer service, users are at risk of unauthorized charges without any easy way to stop them or get their money back.

Bad Bad Practices

Bad Bad Practices. My mom had subscribed to the free trial. Company instead started to withdraw fee directly. Once she tried to unsubscribe they sent a demand letter for a supposedly unpaid subscription fee with additional collection costs. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO
