Too Expensive for My Needs

I find the archive to be quite costly. I only conduct occasional searches—often fruitless—and it doesn't justify a subscription.

Finally Found a Solution!

The representative was very helpful when I encountered difficulties signing in to the website. I didn't need to subscribe for my first three articles, and they sent me a link. It was a bit confusing initially since the website asked for account creation and bank details, which aren't necessary for just one piece of information.

Solid Search Archive

The archive is fairly comprehensive. I was surprised they didn't have copies of a major UK daily. The reproduction quality, especially of press images, was not overwhelming. However, they respond promptly to queries, and I'm continuing my membership.

Payment Issues

I attempted to pay for a one-off subscription, had my bank approve it with facial recognition, and then received an error message on the website. Despite trying different bank cards and devices, the issue persisted. Their current suggestion is for me to join a payment platform I prefer not to use. Additionally, their website states that three pages can be accessed for free, but I only accessed one, yet they still want £22 for details on a specific trial. This service feels obstructive and inadequate.

Frustrating Access Issues

My partner has been trying to access the archives, but her payment attempts are consistently declined. Customer service keeps attributing it to a fraud issue and simply tells her to try again, which is unhelpful. She repeats the process with the same result. It's frustrating that employees in these organizations can't take responsibility for their malfunctioning systems. As Einstein said, doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results is madness. This is quite unhelpful.
